Alright so I've been curious about something that has been on my mind for a bit. Has anybody actually ordered from this website? I've been thinking of ordering from them and I need to be sure if its a legitimate seller to buy figures from. Edit: Yep, this is a fake site

Just so we're clear, we are talking about this website, right? Transfan2's Shop 'N Look - We have toys and gifts for all ages. Because there are two websites for this store and I need to be sure if both are legit.
Don’t really see how they’re overpriced. Pricing is actually quite reasonable and better than Rogue Toys. Only thing that’s iffy is the obviously fake pop ups saying someone bought one of the figures you are looking at. Edit: Fake site
This is the correct one. Transfan2's Shop 'N Look The one he linked to seems to be a fake. Talks about not being able to return used clothing and mattresses in their links at the bottom, as well as being in SGD/Singapore dollars. EDIT: Also, no PayPal. You're literally putting your cc number in their hands.
I ordered from the genuine Transfan2's online store once (the Titans Return "Titan Force" three-pack), and everything went fine.
I see what you mean by overpriced No wonder these small shops struggle to compete with other companies. So far the best one I’ve found is Brads Toys here in Vegas. Theyre expanding quite a bit too. But Rogue Toys and Pop Shack are absolute jokes. I’ve even seen RT post broken figures and there’s currently a 2007 movie cliffjumper on their site without a head.... no mention of that in the item description.
I've been to Transfan2's shop quite a few times over the years. It's small but the selection was usually pretty impressive. His prices were usually high for some stuff and low for others. I bought quite a few things there. There seemed to be a lot more in the store than on the website.
I figured about as much, I tried to send an email to them asking about their legitimacy but got no response. Plus, they use a non-existent address in Indianapolis.
It's a shame that you can't shop in the store anymore - just "curbside pickup". It's fairly close to the Toy Dept in Fairfield and I'd swing by their shop afterwards, pre-covid. I don't know how they're still in business honestly. The rent on a physical commercial retail space can't be cheap.
I don’t think I’ve been there since early 2020…not sure how they’re still in business either. I’m glad to see they are, though. I always liked talking to his Mom…she’s so sweet. And I think I’ve only been to the Toy Dept once since early 2020. I used to hit both places once every week or two, but since we started working from home I am hardly ever up there.
I'd recommend checking the Toy Dept. out again if you haven't been in awhile. In my experience they tend to have decent prices on most things so their inventory is constantly changing. I usually hit them up every couple months and there's always new stuff to see. There's a new store close by in Hamilton called Oliver's Toy Chest too. I met the owner at the Xenia toy show and he seemed really cool so I figured I'd check them out this weekend since I'll be in the area. Oh, and you are so right about Transfan's mom. She is a super sweet lady.
The about us section on that site is so weird. I’ve been buying stuff from his real store for a few years. He gets his hands on some unique and rare stuff from time to time and sells it for really great prices. I think I got the Legend Commander Robot Master redecos of Lio Convoy and Beast Convoy for like 40 each years back? Those were transformers expo exclusives! I think last time I ordered was picking up some Adventure stuff a year or two ago. He’s a member here if you ever want to contact him. Transfan2

My guess is that was his original sales site (the new one says it's a beta) and when he moved/switched .coms someone overseas swooped in and snapped it up as is before he could dismantle it. What a slick way to rip people off. I don't condone it, but I respect the dangerous mind behind it because you've got to be careful with people like that. Sure is!
