Brushed it. I recommend shaking the bottle before applying as the color can settle to the bottom on clear paint

Any word on Transart’s next release? Cheetor came put relatively quickly compared to other companies offerings.

Honestly I will be happy with any of the transmetals from the show. But if it was going to be the last release I would need Megs

Does anyone have a link to their comments about TM1 Megatron?

I want to over-analyze them in anticipation for what a glorious figure that will be! haha

Honestly, it is so funny to consider Wei Jiang-Black Apple's Thunder Leader to be Heavily Modified OS KO of MPM Optimus Prime, and not consider TransArt Primal to be. But it's OK. I can live with that ))

Ah… the legendary ship of Theseus comes to mind. At what point do we stop calling these KOs, and consider them to be their own thing? Personally, I do not consider any of TransArt’s offerings to be OS KOs, and I initially balked at anyone’s claims that they are when these were announced. However, I have since come around to consider this is to be a fair and valid viewpoint. Ultimately, it makes no difference to me what we call them; I enjoy them just the same.

That said, it has been somewhat difficult for me to keep up with the news and availability of TransArt’s offerings versus JX’s Winged Dragon and Perfect Effect’s Beast Gorira and Gorira Prime. I do wonder if the classification of TA’s offerings as OS KOs has made it more difficult for these to gain traction and hence has made news and updates harder to come by. Case in point, the aforementioned products by JX and PE were available at BBTS at some point, but none of TA’s products were.

Vice makes a valid point... and it's a shame people keep calling them OS-KO's.

When 1st announced and pictures were leaked, I was in the OS-KO camp.
But after having these IN hand, they are, in NO WAY, oversized knock offs.

Do they (TransArt & Hasbro) share a similar transformation sequence?
Yes... but that's because BOTH share a similar transformation sequence to the ANIMATION!

If Mainframe used the toys to base their renders off of...
And TransArt based their designs off of Mainframe's renders...
    WELL DUH!

But that is where ANY similarity ends.
Sculpts are all original, and much closer to Mainframe's on screen accuracy.
Figures are better proportioned, and closer to Mainframe's renders.

TransArt's figures are beautiful, well made, and 100% original.
And I hope they continue the entire Transmetal cast!!!

Shhh Don’t tell them the truth. It either won’t confirm what they already believe and they’ll get triggeted. Or they will tell their friends to buy them and we will all pay fanstoys prices.

Saying these are KOs is like saying FT and GP Grimlock's are KOs. There are only so many ways to go from one thing to another and have them look screen accurate. Since the transmetal line in the show really did not feature any mass shifting and the transformations are completely realistic, how would a company looking to do complete screen accuracy make this product and have it not be similar? There's only so many ways to skin a cat.

I'm pretty sure they said they're making more. Hopefully somebody can examine their Weibo.

This figure has been a much bigger success than TAs primal. They'd be silly not to make more.

Definitely my most wanted figure from TA atm, except perhaps if I knew they were intending to do a Dinobot TM...

That's less likely so far because Dinobot is a TM2 NOT a TM. Needs a way different design than what we got. I hope JX does Dinobot 2

Yup true, I lazily abbreviated, apologies for any confusion and yeah its very unlikely he's planned or at least planned for the near future.

Nonetheless I'd actually like TA to handle him because they've been able to nail the super shiny chrome so far and I think it would really pop on a figure like Dinobot TM2 even if JX would make a higher quality figure overall.
