I hope TransArt finds a way to offer those parts to people who bought the first run of Rattrap. I want them but not enough to double dip or go through the trouble of selling my first one and rebuying.

There’s no glue. The head piece was easy to pop off but I needed to stab a tiny flathead into the chest panel to pry it out.
I also took the head apart to paint the eyes and inner mouth. The eye piece is on SUPER tight.

I don't think TransArt has ever said they would be doing non-show characters. But I suppose anything is possible.

 

I just asked after sales service for ShowZ. We'll see how that goes. The more I look at the new version the more I want it.

 

Sorry what changed from the previous run of TM rattrap

 

His hat is copper instead of orange.

 

They kinda screwed up with this change. Those parts were definitely orange in the show, just a metallic orange. Instead of copper they should've done clear orange over silver like they already did with the blue.

 

I ordered from BBB though maybe I should do the same. Best of luck.

 

Technically they have shown pictures of a Transmetal Tigatron, so it's not necessarily 100% out of scope for them to go out of show. That said, I would prefer them to finish the in-show stuff first before moving on to that.

 

Personally, I hope they make some non-show characters in between the show characters because I know for a fact the non-show characters won't sell as well and they'll just die out if they only do non-show characters after.

 

True, but Transmetal Tigatron is just a repaint of Ravage. The Ravage mold already exists and less of a risk than a brand new mold like Transmetal Airazor might be. That said I'm all for them tackling Transmetals that weren't in the show, so bring on Airazor, Terrorsaur, Rhinox, and Waspinator.

 

Let us know how it works out. I want the swapped parts but worst case, I pull them and paint them. Just sucks it happened so quickly from release.
