Don't forget their BWM-01 Strange Friend (Transmutate) in that list.

They seem to be on a path through Transmetals. I'm sure they've said Megatron is next, albeit not officially, which is fine and makes sense as long as Rattrap and Tarantulas follows, as we haven't seen a season 1 version of either.

I see no reason why they couldn't do Silverbolt and Quickstrike as the bulk of the work is there in the original toys (Silverbolt just needs some TLC with the wing design I guess). We have TT versions of Blackarachnia and Dinobot, so can't see TA bothering there.
Rampage and Depthcharge - I reckon these are likely if another 3P doesn't take the glory.
Rhinox, Inferno and Waspinator - Less likely, but Transart COULD do it, if TT don't get to it first. Hopefully Kingdom might trigger some demand for these guys.
Scorponok, Terrorsaur and Airazor - Not much more than a cameo in Season 2/3 so think these will be TT or bust.

We will see what happens, but as TT seems to be slowing down their Beast Wars output and season 2 is my favourite anyway, I am very pleased that these guys are doing what they're doing.

They definitely hinted we'd see Megs this year.​

I'm not saying they WOULDN'T tackle Silverbolt, it's just the wings, and the sculpt of the fur & feathers would have to be MUCH more advanced to be on a
MASTERPIECE level.
But they certainly have the TALENT to do it... just not sure it would be worth their time.
I actually think we'll get an official Takara Silverbolt BEFORE the entire Season 1 cast is released... IF they keep cranking them out.​

While I do agree they are LESS likely, Takara isn't giving us BW Season 3 of ANY character in the foreseeable future.
So once the Season 2 cast is finished, I could maybe see a TransMetal 3 incarnation of either one (or both!).

I think we see these ONLY if the rest of the line keeps doing well, and they see a demand for them.

BWM-01 Strange Friend - Transmutate

I wish she had ankle tilt, but all things considered, this is a FANTASTIC figure. New backbone pieces installed and allows her to hold ANY pose!

 

I hope they throw some of the accessories and stuff in the line. Everyone is always talking about wanting those shields the Maximals use. It's a dead simple design and they could capitalize on that. Or make a stasis pod that fits MP-32. Or maybe a set of Tarantulas's little drones.

Silverbolt would be nice too.

Honestly, I'd like them to continue into the transmetal 2 characters after they get through season 2 because Jiang Xing was pretty dead all last year on Tigerhawk's development. so I'm not sure they'd be able to generate characters at an acceptable rate. At the rate TransArt is banging these out, it wouldn't be too long before they got to season 3.

 

TM Megatron next please TransArt...

A Transmutate re-issue with the upgrade parts already installed would be cool as well.  

 

Wait, does he have that pipe that pops out of his neck? We need that for 100% authenticity!!!

 

Are they just tacklimg Transmetals? I mean, an Oversized Generations Rhinox with just a tiny bit of retooling with ratchets would be money imo.

 

Dinobot II would be about the most bitchin thing ever.

 

Rampage after TM Megatron please...

 

Silverbolt's model seems very complex in passing but his limbs and torso are all very simple polygons relatively speaking. The tricky thing is you can get away with not sculpting but you need to go full force on the paint to represent the texture on the model which I'm not sure Transart is capable to do yet.

 

Once TransArt gets around around to doing Rattrap, i REALLY hope they make his backpack rotate during transformation like it did in the show.
Besides the flaking chrome, that was the only thing I really disliked about the original toy's release.

Don't get me wrong, I think a lot of improvements CAN be made (especially to his face), but that rotating backpack is what I REALLY want to see!!!

 

I agree with this so much! Een at about 9/10 years old when I first got the original figure, it always annoyed me that the back didn't transform right. Would be amazing after all this time to get a version that gets it right. Especially as Rattrap is my favourite.

 

This is an absolute must with him for me.

I would love a toon accurate Inferno. That would be awesome!!

 

Not expecting Takara to get to Inferno with their MPs?
