I believe the cloth that it comes with has their QR code.

Actually, I was mistaken, there's a card with the QR code, not a cloth. It used to be a cloth.

Those are the same yes. The video on the last page had a visible screw on the dino head.

 

Unfortunately same, but this is my absolute favorite Megatron design so unless someone makes a better one...

 

Ok, so looks like that Chinese reviewer got a copy with bad QC. Yours isn't missing the screw cover on the T. rex head. The bottom of the T. rex chest also pegs in properly. It seems he also undersold the amount of bend the elbow is capable of. Your review has a much deeper elbow bend.

How are the thighs in your copy? The Chinese review's thigh ratchets could be tighter, but the Mangmotion video shows the thigh ratchets to be pretty sturdy and required a few taps for them to fall down. Does your front kick hold well?

 

Finally got my balance request from bababobo00712. Pumped to get mine in hand.

 

Thigh's on my copy are very tight and have no problems holding a front kick. I would say he has no issues with any particular area being loose. I am going to go with the Chinese reviewer unfortunately had a bad copy. This figure holds up as well or better than any Takara offering I own, and has more of a premium feel than any of the other TransArt figures I own.

That said, it's not like it's a rod of rebar... Any hamhands movement in ANY direction will snap that baby off easily.

Looks like I spoke out of turn, and it's indeed plastic. That's a damn shame.

It does NOT put a damper on my excitement for this piece... but it will remind me to be extra careful with this part.

 

Thanks! I don't own a 3D printer but I do own a lasercutter. I copied your design and translated it to clear acrylic plate material for the lasercutter. My Cheetor now also flies around next to Surf-monkey!

Yeah I got a pair of gloves, not a cloth. Handy but that's a new one on me.

 

Chosen Prime hasnt even gotten anything yet, and they're usually one of the first US retailers to get stuff in. I'd say give it another month for TFsource  

 

I ordered mine on TFSource too. I've been eagerly waiting since ShowZStore released it. Wonder if it's gonna be that 15 - 25 day wait?

 

This thing is bad ass. Definitely my prized possession. It's not perfect, as some joints are on the loose side, but the good far outweighs the bad. I didn't notice any paint chipping on the feet, but there is a very light scuff on the left foot. They included autobot and decepticon symbols but no predacon symbols which is kinda funny and annoying. This makes me want all the transmetals, but it's simply out of my price range. I had to have this though. Transmetal Megatron is my second favorite character behind Dinobot. I would still like MP Dinobot, and almost had it back when IT02 came out, but cancelled because of all the bad reviews about QC issues. Maybe I can still get one some day.
