Unknown MP Tarantulas

It literally looks like the original toy but scaled up. The permanent palm-up design for the arms and hands are what give that away.

 

Their actually not permanently upright. There are images of where tarantulas is holding his gun normally, also take a look at the feet on the robot mode. I don’t think this is just a simple upscaled version. If they are going to take the time to remake the robot mode feet, beast legs I can’t see them leaving the arms the way the originals were

 

Guys I’m really confused. Someone mentioned that transart made a mini op op, is this it?

 

No this is a different new larger one.
The smaller one they made years ago.

Good for those that want it, but I see it not doing too well seeing as how their last four figures are MP size.

Pick a scale and stick with it TA!

Yeah, it really is a strange choice. I would absolutely be on this if it were MP scaled.

 

I mean....I wish they had gone with a smaller scale to begin with, but made peace with the MP size....this just makes me scratch my head and wonder what freaking drugs they're on.

I love TransArt and was really hyped for their next reveal. Oh well. Hopefully they can upscale it or survive the flop that this figure sounds like it might be.

 

Whose to say they won’t scale it up a bit bigger after all the people messaging them about it.

 

It's possible, they did listen before with Cheetor and Ravage, although those were really small fixes, this is cutting a new mold. All depends on how far that prototype is if they've created injection molds or not yet.

 

I mean, it would scale with Kingdom figures perfectly. There's a lot of people collecting those. Probably more than Masterpiece scale. So maybe they want to break into that market?

 

Yup, a functional flight stand. The TA stands have been garbage. I ended up using better ebay flight stands that actually work.

Ah fuck, I didn't realize it wasn't MP scale. I don't think I can cancel my preorder with the people I placed it with. Sigh. Oh well, at least it'll fit with Kingdom.
