DOTM will most likely make a billion dollars, so there will be a fourth live-action TF movie. (Side Note: It better be called "Trans4mers".)

That said, the prevailing rumors right now are that DOTM is the last movie for both Michael Bay and Shia Labeouf.

So reboot or sequel, who are your choices for the TF series next director and star?

 

Neil Blomkamp as director and Nathan Fillion as the star.

 

Epps, Lennox and Simmons as Stars. Just that.

As for the director, I think the best choice would be either Steven Spielberg himself, either Gore Verbinsky, a guy who can do blockbuster movies with great characters [J.J Abrams, Neil Blokamp and Peter Jackson are nothing but a wet Nerd dream, people who won't direct TF. Ever].

Overall, I say bring Michael Bay back to the franchise somehow, if he can't return, bring in Gore Verbinsky.

Krueger returns as Scriptwriter.

 

Neil Blomkamp made me feel for and sympatise with a giant cockroach. If he could do that I'm sure he would be able to do the same for giant bug-faced robots.

Gore Verbinsky would also be a good pick, since he knows how do epic blockbaster stuff.

I'd say John Favreau would make an awesome Transformers director, though i would be interested in seeing Neil Blompamp's take as well.

It better not be! That is a terrible name for a film, nearly as bad as "2 Fast 2 Furious"! Even that franchise dropped the silly title. For some reason Trans4mers reminds me of Transmorphers, like some cheap knockoff of Transformers.

We all know the next film will be called Transformers: (Something) of the (Something)".

 

Most people are going to hate me when I say this. I think Michael Bay will be the director of transformers 4. I know he said hes done with the transformers movies, but with the money this movie is raking in there is astrong possibilty that hasbro and parmount will have him as a director for the 4th.

Yeah I do. I'm just sick and tired of Bay. Give me someone who isn't going to throw mindless toilet humour into a movie and someone who isn't going to cut cool shit like Shockwave fighting Optimus in Chernoybl.

 

Neil blomkarp, he can tell a story, he can handle visuals and can merge them.

I would like to see a story surrounding Lennox and epps, easily my favourite human characters in the franchise. Will has a family to look after so maybe that can play into it and epps then is trying to re-instate himself etc. No need for another sam like character, nerdy messenger is done, lets find out about the guys who fight.

 

Here's a better idea: have Kevin Smith direct TF4 with Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson starring in it. And have the movie take place somewhere in New Jersey.

If we're talking of new ones, have a new character, a young guy, but not Sam Witwicky-like. Perhaps, a more serious personality this time around.

One celebrity I'd love to see in TF4 (if possible) is Dwayne Johnson... Just an opinion, period.

 

If your talking transformers 4 or just a straight up reboot,it depends.
If Transformers continuing on:
Steven Spilburg best fill in the directors spot that way it would have a similar feelin to the previous 3.
If complete reboot:
ill just watch you guys argue that one out.

 

I want it set some years after DOTM. I want Sam to been grown up and played by Gerad Butler ( 300 as Leoinadas ). He gives me the same impression that I get from seeign old G1 adult Spike.
