Don't think I'll be getting any of these "Trans-Scanning" deals.

He might look alright if you don't attach all the parts when you transform him - it looks as though he's more or less accurate but for the extra parts tacked on for the sake of having them attack somewhere. Lose the bits on his knees and the backpack, then put the bits on his hips on his back and you've got a more or less accurate robot mode. Some bits seem to cheat by being molded in and attached like the front end of the car on his chest and also on his knees.

Well I like the detail and I kind of dig the protoform robot mode, but the other modes are pretty bleh. Won't be getting it

Cool idea, but I agree the bot mode is not very accurate.

It's a neat concept, but the execution is a bit off.

Anyone see potential for kitbashes and custom transformers?

We are getting highly articulated TF-style robots that can have things attach to them.

While it is horrible for depicting movie characters, I think there is potential with them.

I agree. This is just bad. Entering Earth mode is ridiculous. Basically bent backwards in half. And robot mode is bad with all the kibble. They have the tires and windows on his arms, not very accurate. Oh well even if it was cool, its an Autobot and I do not swing that way.

This is similar to the R.E.V. line from Playmates, which were just cancelled I think. They went on clearance pretty quickly. Parts fall off all the time, frustrating idea

Comet mode is ridiculous, It reminds me of when I tried to make vehicles out of my action masters when there were no actual TFs around to play with.
