This is a damn good first impression. I’m interested for sure. I was looking into the 3A one for the robot mode only, but having a Bee that transforms would be nice

Even his thighs turn inside out. I think this might be the first figure I've ever seen use every body part for vehicle mode. This is how a real Masterpiece should transform like; this is what we need for G1, for a real Optimus Prime. oh my god I'm psyched for their Optimus, Toyworld was in the led, but this silhouette has just CRUSHED Freedom Leader.

To be fair, we were getting neat movie toys since the start of the live action films, regardless of accuracy. While the G1 bots were barely getting a proper update.
Nobody thought the idea of a MPM figure until Hasbro announced their Bumblebee.
Not to mention some 3P movie designs are just thrown at the window because of the existence of a SS version, because someone will do an OS Ko with better detail, which is already a good alternative to some whole new 3P MP figure.

Very interested in how good their dropkick will look. I've seen toyworld's and I wanna see how this matches up to it. The fuax chest is fine, and I would even encourage it for sections of the robot mode which actual transforming parts can't get right (Rotf Optimus' abs). Kinda disappointed at the messiness of the alt mode being so messy, and the gappy knee joints, but ig the robot is good enough to give both those a pass.

I don\'t mind the use of faux-parts when the actual parts are nowhere to be seen. It helps sell some of the more impossible bits.  I think of the three, this one is the winner for me.  I look forward to see what they\'re doing with Prime and the murder couple.

Let's not forget Knight Orion and Dragoon. The latter is probably the best movie figure we've ever gotten, despite the lack of sculpted detail.

Toyworlds Dropkick? I can't remember him being revealed yet.

Unfortunately no, it’s 17 centimeters, or roughly 6.7 inches. Every character in bumblebee is a GOOD DEAL shorter than the characters in the bay films, with bee only being around 11 feet tall.

I'm hoping they decide to reveal prime asap, I'm incredibly excited to see how it comes out. Right now I have a deposit down on 3A (because let's be fair it still crushes all in aesthetic and articulation) but I want to get either toyworlds or now possibly this one too

Seeing some comments about the faux chest parts. What if I told you that the chest is in fact real, and that the parts that form the front of the car mode are faux? o_O

And Optimus is around 24', so the figure should be around 11", meaning it should be shorter than FL.

SS VW Bee never sat right with me - hoping this one isn't *too* expensive, would love to treat myself.

Didn't 3A state that their figures werent following any specific scale?

    1. I’ll get back to you on that.

    2. So what? Since when does the size of a character’s kibble effect their robot mode size whatsoever? There’s a whole thread dedicated to scale, one that you’ve posted in, and the concensus on prime is that despite the kibble he ain’t that big.
