Wow, I guess their Cliffjumper is out. I wonder how many would actually buy it?

 

@Illiterate Scholar I was going to for review, but just couldn't help the idea of buying the figure to help TC out, even if my singular purchase  

 

I don't know, feels like a waste of money IMO.

 

Probably a decent amount. PvP made no mention of the horrible QC from the bumblebee release in his review.

 

To be fair, it sometimes takes a while for the cracks to appear. And sometimes people get lucky enough to not experience breakages at all. My TC Bee is still in one piece after a year, and my KO Challenger's arm ratchets haven't got sodden off.

 

Definitely did...I transformed that sucker 20x times to practice before my review, reviewed, encoded...then it started happening. I thought I was lucky, I was not  

 

Wait for the OS KO that won't break. Who knows, they may even tweak the head...

 

Exactly, which is also why I mostly keep TC Bee on a shelf while I can mess around with a solidly built BBB, being the ThreeZero version. lol

Or depending on if you're wanting just a good representation of Bee, get the ThreeZero version.
Because I think people are more allured by the fact that TC Bee can even transform more than actually wanting it to transform it themselves.
But eh, just my two cents, and yeah it may seem like I'm dick-riding TZ but their Bee is just so damn good!

 

Thanks to @Bombusbee for my TC-02R red jump. Got him brand new for less than £40. I know lots of people are turned off from Transcraft which is fair enough, I just love the looks of these guys next to each other. Hopefully Cyber Era will OS Red Jump as I would really love a bigger version with LEDS

 

My TC Bee is still going strong...
How many others are there out there whose TC Bee hasn't broken? I'm curious if the breakage is 100% inevitable, or if it only happens to most, 50%, or less than half of the copies.

(I know there's a real design flaw that has affected many copies, and that TC's failure to fix the issue is totally unacceptable. But maybe there's still hope that some of us will get lucky?)

 

I have a tiny split on my hip joint and it feels a bit loose, but my Bee is still intact.

 

Wasn’t there supposed to be a “dirty” version of the OSKO coming out? I keep longingly looking at mine and want to interact with the design without it disintegrating, and it just doesn’t look quite right being clean after Trans Craft nailed the dirty look so well.

I was one of the first to discover the breakage issues, so I bought a second copy thinking I broke it myself. My second copy has literally never been transformed, and mostly stands on my desk. Light posing every week or two.

No cracks at first, but the grey pieces on his ankles that have part of the car bumper attached have cracked on both sides now. These are non load bearing pieces, so I’m assuming an arm will fall off next time I adjust the shoulders

Just received this figure. Excellent quality and strong/tight joints. This is my first TC figure and definitely not the last.

But let me tell you, it’s quite complex to transform, probably one of the most complex transformer cars (mpm sized cars). I just hope that TC also make shatter and dropkick’s muscle cars to go with this bee.

My 2 issues are that the figure does not have weapon storage. If anyone knows about weapon storage, kindly let me know  . Also the chest piece (2 headlights) are not the actual part of the car, if it was I would be much happier

I have transformed mine 5-6 times very carefully. I also put a thin layer of of super glue over all the common break joints. Still no bad cracks. Just some look like they were there when I got it.

 

As soon as I read this comment, this happened.. using gorilla glue atm

 

After the immediate breakage, i suspect you (as well as everyone else) are going to steer clear of any further releases...

This is just what happens, not a matter of if but when.. and they lied continuously about fixing the problems!
Their cliffjumper will fall apart soon enough

 

I emailed the retailer for its replacement part but you are right, I will steer clear unless they make something that other companies couldn’t.

 

They have never offered anyone any replacement parts, which is part of the problem.
If it breaks, they messed up, but having people pay for new parts or just giving them a NO is just bad business practice.

other companies offers free replacements, some even send free upgrades like the BS-03 shoulders
Unique toys gave me a Nero hip replacement for free after it fell off the shelf and broke in two
