I hope a company makes a Bee that looks like Herbie
I don't care for movie figures in general but love this figure but would not recommend it to a single person. My shin section has basically crumbled from two splits, the hip joints are splitting. It's just a terribly made figure which is a shame as the design is incredible.
This figure self imploding is one of my biggest TF let downs
There is a KO of studio series that is white but it's a police car beetle.

Might be useful for somebody, but who knows what he's saying.
I hope not.
I’d rather not tempt Disney to further go after KO’s and ultimately 3P.
where the hell do you get the diecast thigh replacements from? In the video they are a magnetic. That means full diecast right?
Edit: spoke to the toy store listed in the repair video and they have no idea where the diecast thigh joints come from. They just said China. They do not sell them.
Is this reputable?
Yeah. I ordered two figures from that same link.
Anyone have one or a second they are willing to let go of? I’m having a hard time tracing down a reputable seller.
My regular seller (Terry’s TF Club) totally flaked on me and I had to pursue a cancel through PayPal.
showzstore has a PO link for this guy Transcraft TC-02 Bumblebee - Show.Z Store (showzstore.com)
I would have jumped on this if I didn’t read this thread. Such a good looking figure, so tempting, yet it’s going to shatter….
@octobotimus I think @Tortugatron has read this thread and is willing to forego that possible outcome. I am actually really curious though, with the other characters they have in the lineup and the seemingly next in the queue is Cliffjumper. If they don't fix things with Cliffjumper nobody will buy anything of theirs in the future.
Anyone have an idea on where to get the diecast replacement pieces?
@tfgato @Whatifsin I just watched that video. Now I don't speak Thai at all too soo...I don't think the replacements are diecast. He replaced the bad hip joints with the new hip joints, then attached the bad ones to the magnet. I think it's just a ferrous metal pin in the hip that is causing the magnetism? Could be 100% wrong of course
No, he point out the pin is a metal, and the cracks are may be cause by when processing of insert a metal pin.
The replacement part are be send by the store contact to TC.
So in summary, there is noting change.
I still think the "cracks" in the hips are there from factory, and are meant to be there.
They are straight and are on ALL figures in the same spot. I think they are expansion slots for assembly. Without them, the joint may not be able to go over the ball joint.
As the entire joint is so small due space, they may have to have made the plastic even thinner to allow it to clip over the balljoint without that expansion slot, making it much weaker.
I have yet to experience any deteriorating of any joints. I've had it for six months and handle it often.
And all the people who have broken the shoulder area, it may as wel have been user error...
Everything has to line up and tab in properly, or you will feel resistance when folding it all it.
If you force it, something will break!
Anyone have a junker they want to split out ?
I'm completely against KOs, but the lies, the lack of interest in solving the problems and the greedyness of the company tempts me to say 'KO this sucker'.
I was able to source one, but I pose my stuff minimally and with kid gloves. So far, this one blows the other transformable ones out of the water.
