I had no interest at all in the character in TLK, but this does look pretty neat
I cringed at the scene where they negotiated the release with Megatron and presented the Decepticons like computer game characters.
It was clearly meant to emulate suicide squad, which in itself is not a great film...
TLK tried to emulate SS... and a bunch of other films. It was like an "Epic Movie", "Scary Movie"... type thing that forgot that it was a lampoon film and thought it was serious.
I want this figure already dammit! He looks great!
That’s.... actually a pretty accurate way to describe it. It’s like film reels from different transformers movies that could have been were all switched around and pieces fell off in the process.
Off topic, but I really wish the movies didn't have to resort to comedy and irony. It has been ridiculous and unnecessary throughout all six movies.
Also, the robots have so much personality that they could carry the stories themselves. No need for that much human involvement (really, really hated Sam Witwicky, that English professor woman and Anthony Hopkins' character. Oh, and Merlin...)
The story lines are all over the place, too, with no continuity what so ever. In every move, there's always a new story as to when and why Transformers came to Earth.
In my opinion, of course.
Aww they're in love
You guys can go with your ok looking Zeta/Transform Element Bumblebee, I'm going with the one that actually looks like the CGI model.
Partsforming is ok with me since I used to playing with anime robots and megazords
honestly i never got why parts forming was such a big problem
Transformers suppose to transform.
Transformers aren’t just tech or equipment, they’re meant to be living beings, so having them fall to pieces when they transform just doesn’t seem right. That would be like if instead of putting on a hood when your head was cold your head flew off, the hood went up, then your head recombined onto your body. Plus often it’s just lazy toy engineering.
For a figure this small, most reasonable people would see that having to partsform one wheel as an acceptable sacrifice for this weird character. Now Earthrise Cliffjumper...
I’m not too mad about this particular figure, I’m addressing the general reason why partsforming is something I (and many other fans) don’t like seeing in a transformer.
Received notice from Show Z to pay balance. Arrival imminent.
Same! Very exciting! It’s crazy that a 3rd party company is legit sticking to its intended release window!
Agreed. Fingers crossed the QC is good!
Post a review once you get him. I'm on the fence, as I have no real attachment to that character. But I'm also a completion-ist lol.
I don’t care about the character much either but I LOVE bike-formers and he just looks posable and fun. And I’m someone who actually likes the weird head design even.
So this is how Mohawk would look like in the ideal world, without any bloody partsforming...
