Seems really spot on, even in the faces. The torso could use some creases. TM Primal isn't the most exciting design in BW for me but with the original that metallic blue really popped in a display with the other figs.

I'll chuck this here for scale too. S1 Megs is there so that gives us MP scale. This pic was actually from Rain Maker, formerly Mainframe.

Looks really great. Not a fan of the facesculpts but looks great otherwise.

This is gonna basically be an upscale of the original figure with new hands, faces and blast effects. I’m not noticing anything else new. A ball jointed head that can look up and down would be nice. Other than that, it just goes to show how little improving the TMs need to be acceptable in MP scale.
TT would give him an ab-crunch like Dinobot and could maybe get a joint in the thighs so his monkey legs can bend, probably a butterfly swing joint too and that’s be all you need.

Count me in for this. Their Transmutate is basic AF but still everything it needs to be.

Agreed, the original only needs minor up grades and upscalling to work. Still, i'd like a few more joints.

What makes you guys think this is oversised? Besides Transmutate (which I thought was a one-off) aren't Transartstoys other figures like Optimal Optimus and Primal all legends/G1 mp scale?

Hmm, so maybe between these guys and Jiang Xing we might actually get season 2 and 3 covered at the MP size. I like the idea of oversizing and retooling the figures that were already pretty dang accurate in the first place, I imagine it'll speed things along considerably. I assume TM Megatron will be next, but then again, it's hard to say when you consider they started with Transmutate of all characters.

    Edit:

I just assumed it because everyone else was saying it, and because of Transmutate.

MP sized? I expect more from MPs, especially in the articulation department. I’m gonna need more convincing on this one.

If it’s legends scale then he’d need to scale with TE Blackarachnia for me to consider it but it’s the articulated fingers that make me think he’s a larger figure.

Additionally, I think I see a thigh swivel cut but no pic makes use of the joint if it exists.

Edit: I think I’m also seeing an ankle tilt which would make this every bit as articulated as actual MP Primal.

Yeah they say it'll be MP size, 21.5cm to the head ;)

Sad to read it's a KO, for moment I thought it was a new mold.

Hm, as a Primal fan I might get this. Not really MP worthy but I'm not sure we'll ever get a MP TM Primal. TM Megatron would also be welcome.

So wait, is this a KO of the original 1995 figure, or is this a new mold?

Aren't they saying its a NEW MP mold?

They could at least figure out some way to give him some knees in beast mode.

The only thing bugging me is that his hands are too small.

I know it's because they're articulated, but they still look weird.
