I'm not usually an MP collector, but I love Tarantulas' Transmetal design, and this looks fantastic. May have to pick this up depending on the price.

 

Spider Drones!

This design looks stellar.

 

Looks great except for that hollow space in the bicep. I'd hope they have enough sense to install some filler panels but then Blackarachnia doesn't have wrists so...

 

Yup. Say no more.

 

I have but one thought:

Yeeeees, nyahahahaha!

...Have been waiting years for this day. Let us hope it actually comes to pass, and with minimal production flaws.

 

I can't read Chinese, but it wouldn't surprise me if that white text at the bottom said:

"Work in progress". or something like that.

Also, did they get rid of the ball joints in the spider mode legs?

And Tarantulas is spelled wrong in the title...

 

Day one purchase. And a Fox Kids/Vok Powered/Shattered Glass repaint please!

 

I second wanting a “Tarantulas Necross” repaint (ESPECIALLY considering the aftermarket prices on the official release. *Shudders*)

 

I picked one up at a good price albeit he’s missing 4 legs and his wheel gun but it’s a personal favorite of mine. Such a cool repaint of a great design!

 

Uh-oh.

More faux parts crap. For no reason. The chest has a whole different shape, and the part on the spider has a longer 'nose' thing and hinges that show it's not the same piece.

Really unnecessary. It's not like it's "new" with this company, but it's like they're faking parts just so they can. It's getting stupid.

 

I love those little flashlight droids.
Also, the height might be ok in my kingdom/legacy BW collection,
or maybe IDW wrecker trilogy collection(I just got GCreation Prowl last month).

 

I wonder what ever happened to the Metal Lycosa figure from a couple years ago. ShowZ still has it up for preorder.

No way they DON'T rerelease this in Fox Kids colors. Aka "the superior deco that wasn't in the show"

Ooh, yes please! Trans-Art are pumping them out now. TM Tarantulas is one of my favourite designs from the show he looks pretty accurate in both modes.

 

In all fairness the beast mode face and chest seem different to eachother so im happy with the decision. This way there can be some expression on the beast mode face because remember he had a mouth and that section was slightly longer. Their just trying to make the figures as show accurate as possible. Dont get me wrong they have made some weird choices with past figures but stuff like this doesnt bother me whatsoever, its just like rattraps foe head on his shoulders and megatrons tail. Its needed and theyre accommodating to the fans that want show accuracy  

 

Real talk: if Tarantulas doesn't come with a version of the support piece that connects Masterpiece Dinobot to ride on Metal Mouse in Knievel-mode he'd better, at least, be able to accommodate Metal Mouse's support piece.
