All of the trailers released for Age of Extinction include the following shot of Lockdown's ship sucking up a building. I've concluded that whatever Lockdown is after is inside of this building. Does anyone know where this scene takes place? Is it Chicago or China?

 

If he is after Prime, after he escapes and runs around in the city, Lockdown is chasing him, and removing any obstacle on the way.

 

That's Hong Kong cause there's mountains in the background and that tall building near the ocean forgot what's it called.

 

hmmm interesting. I have to admit its kinda strange that lockdown would just go around sucking things up for no reason. maybe it is a building that holds something of importance to KSI? Maybe it has something to do with the "Key". Or it could be the showroom featuring Stinger that we saw in the original teaser trailer. looks to be a kind of public 'hall' kind of building.

 

Prime is too obvious of a target. I don't think the writers would make the plot so easy to predict.

 

And maybe that explains why the boats and cars are falling on him and Bee

 

The scene takes place in Hong Kong, but I believe Lockdown is only here for Optimus. It's pretty obvious from trailers.

I personally hope for Drift, for betraying the Cons.
But I still think it is Optimus.

Maybe there is a climate convention? and he is hired by Greenpeace to get rid of lying politicians?

It could be anyone with a grudge on him for him killing Megatron.

Bay says "one human, one alien". If they're one in the same, I'm going to guess it could be Li BingBing's character.

If they're two different entities, then maybe Optimus and Li BingBing?

 

I assumed that Bay was talking about one entity; when he used the term "person," I assumed he was talking about a Transformer.

 

On second thought, you're probably right about Lockdown being after one Human and one Transformer. In the trailers, it is implied that both Optimus Prime and Tessa Yeager are captured by Lockdown. I guess they're both his targets. However, why Tessa?

 

I just had a thought. If Lockdown came here for Optimus, and with all the destruction connected with that, I would think that would give humans even more of a reason to get rid of the Autobots. Would Bay really do that? I hope not. So I believe there is much more to what Lockdown is after than just Optimus.

I personally really hate all this "Humans are jerks when it comes to the Autobots". That is really annoying me and I'm not happy with that theme running through the movies. I hope this movie is the last I see of that and the movieverse humans start feeling a little different towards the Autobots.

 

Tessa is the real target. She's the result of the cybertrobians and humans mixing. She is half cybertrobian. She is lockdowns main target and prime just gets in the way

I keep seeing people post this theory. How would that be possible?
