    Prime's jet-pack disappears at one point. He lands, turns around, then it's gone...

    Curious.

    I highly doubt that it's a "tribute" to G1. I think I did see the parts falling off of him as he landed. It's a like a bad-ass guy manual.

    1: Appear in a bad-ass way.
    2: Slow-mo spins.
    3: Kill a lot of people without effort.
    4: ???
    5: Profit?
    7: Don't look at explosion (very important)

    For prime it adds a "Drop the jetpack part"

    The trailer use to disappear in the cartooon...that doesn't bother me....

    I wonder if Prime's jetpack disappearing is a nod to his trailer in G1? Always disappearing and reappearing... xD

    I think it gets trashed upon impact. Lots of metal things get destroyed in these movies.
