Since I've gotten this guy, he's become my definitive Optimus. Now, I know there's a tankertrailer coming out for him from some third party, but that doesn't really interest me. I'd like to find out if G2 Prime's trailer can be hauled behind him, would I need to do any mods? I've already done the right-shoulder mod to improve articulation and I've drilled a 5mm hole in the back so I can pose him on Revoltech stands. Can I get someone to set the trailer on him and take pictures or something? G1 Prime's trailer works too, but I specifically want that big black trailer that says "OPTIMUS Prime" on it....
Oh... Wait I tihnk there's a misunderstanding. G2 Prime as in the G1 Prime rerelease with the soundbox. Not the mold that was later repainted as Black Convoy/Scourge in RiD.
I think he's trying to plug a g1 bodied prime into a g2 tanker trailer. if nobody else jumps in I can take a pic when I get home
No. No. The base figure is RTS G2 Prime. I'm pretty sure about that. He just isn't sure about what trailer to use with it. The G2 tanker would be too big.
yes, i thought he wanted to see the RTS G2 with the black G2 trailer. it won't sit flat, you'd need to mod the trailers peg and possible the legs of the fig
Even then it'll look strange. I'm sure there's something else that could be done, especially when it comes to toys in similar scale that aren't transformer parts. Not sure if Reprolables has the black trailer sticker though, but there's bound to be something that works better.
