His alt/BT came out after the C6 was introduced, but he was still a C5. I was like, WTH?

Actually there were rumors of the "Blue Devil" Super-vette even back then.

Man I wish that they'd come up with a new body for the Vette. Minor changes aside, there's not much different about it compared to the '80's Vettes. I personally liked the old '70's style Vettes and while it'd be cool to see an updated version of that body, I'd just like to see a radical change in the near future.

    ...that's a rather pretty vehicle

    *wipes drool from mouth*

Perhaps Universe Tracks will copy this alt mode?

That's because the prototype for Tracks based on a C5 Z06 had been designed long before he was released - the release was delayed because Chevy had initially rejected the notion of being involved in the Alt/BT line (and thus, the Dodge Viper started out as a substitute body for Tracks), and only later changed their minds (and thuse, the Viper was slightly redesigned and became Side Swipe instead).

Yeah the site I posed it on was a knockoff imageshack site (I mis-typed the URL and had a feeling it was the wrong place)

Just Google 2009 Corvette ZR1. The Detroit Autoshow starts in two weeks, so it should be everywhere after that.

dude, i am so with you there...though, the 09 looks sweet, i'd love to see something more akin to the mid 70s...my dad had a 74 when i was growing up and i always freaking loved that car so much...i'd love to get a new tracks that looks like that....maybe theres hope in 2010...at least for the car...

I don't like it. I don't like one bit. I prefer the old Corvette.

I think a ground up new Vette is comming in 2012. So who knows maybe they'll FINALLY do something new.

Still the ZR1 is so far removed from the 84, they DO look like different cars. But it's been a pain in the ass living though 25 years of subtle changes to get that far.

Looks more like a Camaro from the later 90's than a Vette.

It's lost all the gorgeous curves of the front half the old ones have... I'm not even a car person and I like the super curvy contours of the older 'Vettes... even the Alt Tracks has too smooth a front...
