    I'm still hoping Tracks gets the Classics and Robot Hero treatment.

    Hopefully he and Raoul will show up in TF2, and the world will drown in the sea of various Tracks figures pumped out as a result...

    That would be a cute idea.

    I've always really liked Tracks for some reason. I want a Classics version!

    I wouldn't mind a 74 BB repained blue with the ol' Track fire and a new head. I think it would fit (nice alt mode, shoulder missles and athletic bot mode and all) and of course would LOVE a Universe version. The overall look of his bot mode is one of a kind and that flame symbol on his chest is an undeniable identifying factor for him. I think he's one of the few bots who never got repainted iirc.

    The alt tracks got repainted into swerve and a new head for battle ravage. But that's all I can think of.

    In the G1 cartoon, Tracks even had a lot of character development screen time too (i.e. the ep where he runs away and meets the car-jacker), IMO he was very very much like Prowl's character so far in the Animated line, except a bit more 'cosmopolitan'.

    Cosmopolitan, yes, that's a good word. Actually your character analogy is just about dead-on, now that I've seen the Animated pilot. Let me also add that Tracks' simple "third mode" was made to look Wicked Cool in "Auto-Bop" in a way that we seldom see nowadays. For a half hour toy commercial, TF shows don't always do a good job of actually *selling* toy-features!

    As for names, there was IIRC an intent to sell a Classics mini-con (the tank, I think) with the name Tracks, but this was changed when the Cc MC's went from two-pack versus sets to three-pack team sets. Tracks would be a good name for a tank, I think.

    Why tracks? Why not someone else? Powerglide? Outback?


    Skids is not a loser, he is a failure, at least to the three people that pay attention to him. For all we know, he could've came up with a cure for cancer, but nobody listened to him because he gets no friggin respect.

    Red Alert is just fucked. Plain and simple, but not a loser.

    Grapple/Hoist I agree with.



    And yes, a Trailbreaker update takes priority over a sexually confused sociopath like Tracks.
