He also looked like that for the most part in the Headmasters mini-series, where he first showed up in the Marvel Comics, you didn't see much of him though. He also looked like that in his Marvel profile.

Yes! Now all we need is the other 3 big autobot target masters, spinster, needlenose, quickmix, landfill, a new scoop, and the other power masters. Would have preferred any new molds of them instead of perceptor and windblade.

oh they look great...so much done on the triggerhappy mold to make them unique....

my only gripe is that this is one of those cases i think i prefer the toy head on slugslinger.

ooooo i hope we get the autobot targetmasters next. i needs a pointblank

Wasn't Misfire a figure mould that was created by Hasbro during G1? I think he was the first done like that, but i am probably wrong.

Misfire - My favorite decepticon targetmaster for his colors and the first articulation! However, it is strange that he was transferred from targetmasters in "headmasters"...

P.S But I want to see LG version from Takara!)

Hmm? "Created by Hasbro" describes literally all US G1 characters, no?

Unless you mean "was a brand-new toy, and not a reused Diaclone/Micro Change one", in which case the TFTM cast - Hot Rod, Kup, Blurr, etc. - were the first on that count.

Gotcha. But yeah, the first original moulds were in 1986, and then pretty much everything from 1987 onward was new.

Metroplex and the first four Scramble City combiners were the last Diaclone moulds that Hasbro had left - created for a Diaclone line that Takara abandoned when they imported Hasbro's Transformers brand.

Slugslinger is perfect (opening cockpits, would have been good mind)
Misfire tho... A. why's the head not black, B. the Topspin mold would have been way preferential!!

I was really hoping for an IDW head for Misfire.

If we get a variant Slugslinger I'd like to see him in black as was seen in the Rebirth

I'm really hoping we'll see the other Autobot Targetmasters in PotP (doesn't seem like there are enough slots for all three left in the line). Their absence is becoming more noticeable. Quickmix and Landfill would be nice, too, but I'm not holding my breath. My Cybertron Quickmix will probably be on the shelf for quite awhile longer . . .

Just have to say both look great. Alt modes are spot on (and thank the spaghetti monster they used this mold and not the topspin one).
Misfire needs a black head, and preferably a red visor as well, so I might wait for Takara for him

No it's been said that slugslinger comes in a separate wave. Misifire which we know of before Toyfair comes with Windblade and Twintwist

I'm with the folks who see this neo-Seeker quality as a feature, not a bug. I think it's a good way to handle these guys. And I agree that it's a lot better than having two of them share a mold and then have third as odd man out. More cohesive this way.

Really liking the look of these guys, though if agree that a black head on Misfire would look better. And it's a shame Slugslinger's two cockpits aren't functional.

The fake cockpits on slugslinger. Not that\'s it\'s bad or anything, just pretty funny. Topspin would have been perfect for misfire, but I like what they did here. It\'s also really awesome that we are almost 5 waves into the line and we are still getting new/heavy retooled molds

Real shame about the lack of Misfire\'s black head. Guess I could just paint it?
