After finishing my squeezeplay i said to myself "MOAR TITAN MASTER JR.S!". and thus Minerva was born. Using the head from chromedome (so's i didnt have to paint the head in fear of scraping it off when inserting into body) and the rest from nightbeat i went to down disassembling and painting. The face is a little rough but looking at it with just ur eye parts you cant tell. since nightbeats face was making this "eww i just smelled a horrible dog fart" kind of face i applied some putty to fill it in and used the end of my really pointy tweezers to scrap a mouth in. SOOOO much better! (shh dont tell but im making loudmouth into Cab) painting such small scale is a pain in the toot shoot. Any who waiting for my order of breakaway so i can fashion a body. for anybody that wants to give this a go i used testors red, white, black, teal, tan and sherbert which i got in a pack at Michaels. Use detail brushes or tooth picks to get into the really tight areas, just dont poke the paint or u will leave dents. go one color at a time and let it dry so you dont smear or bleed into other areas. and once you finish ur paint job let it sit for at least 24 hours so the paint fully cures.
I wish the face face sculpt was light this I did not buy my favorite Head master because he was screaming or whatever that face it.
I like the colours you used and the layout, the face looks loads better than the scream that was on it before. I would suggest maybe going for multiple thinner layers than what you used though as it looks a little thick and messy. Could just be because of how close those photos are though May have to try this myself unless Takara do a version (They did Shuta, would be a crying shame not to do the rest of the Autobot Juniors)
It's called apoxie sculpt. It's a 2 part apoxie. It's like 10 bucks on amazon for a 1lb container and I've used it a lot and I still have a ton left.
Only thing I think could have been added is the 2 red marks on the top of the helmet. Otherwise, awsome job so far.
