I love all these legends sized insecticons but Kickback's yellow translucent wings were horrible and the figure had way too much purple. I painted the wings metallic silver to match the animation model, painted the biceps and thighs black, and painted the visor red. I'm pretty happy with the overall aesthetic now.

Much better. Even the card he comes packed with had the same color scheme. It wasn't even reused artwork... it was the actual TR figure  

 

I didn't even notice that! I'm going to have to find the card again and check it out.

Ok so I dug out the card and you are right! Lazy Hasbro.
I'm not painting the insect legs silver like on the card though-i think it would clash with the wings too much.

 

Yep. Definite improvement! I miss vac-metal chromed Insecticon parts... they just seem a bit strange without them. And he really looks like himself with the red visor. Nice work!
