Thanks. I've been considering rearranging things a bit to make more shelf space but I hate to move the wall.

Maybe you should take it all down in a planned way to make sure you're not getting any funghi behind there (i live in a damp house myself), but i would put it all back afterwards cause it looks awesome.

This thread deserves a Page 1 bump.

...also, just picked up the G1 gun and sword adapter.

Thanks for the bump. I'm going to be updating on another version of Max I've been working on. I hope you like the new parts as much as the others. Also what do you plan to do with the ramps max came with? I would be interested in them if you are selling them.

Cool man, looking forward to it! Keep me/us posted.

As for the original ramps.....ugh, I had an extremely hard time removing the pins, and wound up having to cut through the ends of the ramps to free them up. So essentially, the gray parts of the ramps (since they were in two parts) are now rendered useless. (and by useless I simply mean the holes where the pin would go are now cut off)

    I know, I know....sucks.

That's not a problem. Sucks that it happened. I'd still be interested in them.

Any plans to make extensions for the red ramp bits on his shoulders so they can reach the ground?
(the bits that normally connect to leader figures, maybe with a little double hinge thing so they can fold up on robot mode)?

EDIT: Ooh, maybe a 5mm adapter for the leg cannons too? It could slot into the underside of the cannon like this allowing the cannons to connect to the arms in base mode like this.
I dunno, just some ideas I had.

I like your ideas, especially the ramp ones. I'll give them a try.

    Great data here!
I was wondering, if I would want to just remove the ramps, is the unscrewing necessary? Like is there some unseen functionality (pic2) besides the pins (pic1).
I tried lightly to push the pins with an thin object but couldnt get the pins to move.

There's a thread about this in the tutorials section but I can't be bothered to look it up for you...

Anyways, there's a special tool you can use that I forget the name of, but If the tool you're using can take stress use a hammer and LIGHTLY tap the pin out. Be sure to find the rough knurled end of the pin and tap it so that end comes out first, usually it's shallower than the other side.

I opened the Fmaxs shoulder since it seemed otherwise impossible to get the pin out. Then I just pushed the pins out millimeter by millimeter, and luckily not breaking anything. Max looks super to me in the robot mode without ramps and the overall moving/toying around is much easier.

I was also checking the link (many thanks for it) but I dont yet fully understand how to see the pics.

My bad. Photobucket really messed everyone up when changed the new policies about hotlinking. I was hoping that you could click through to the pics because some photos for some reason will let you do it while others will not.

Glad you got it working for you at any rate.

That central waist tower substitution modification is AMAZING. I might have to do some organ harvesting from one of my Encore Maxes....
