I'm trying to change TR Chromedome from robot to car mode but having problems getting the hood lined up agains the chest plate. Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong? Is the hood not transformed correctly or is the chest plate not pushed up high enough?

    Thanks!

I have a Chromedome that the hood doesn't click in all the way on one side (the hinge of the hood seems off center) and its bad enough it can't roll on 4 wheels. It doesn't line up like in your photo.

I bought a second one and the same hinge was off center in the opposite direction and also didn't line up properly. I returned that one and gave up on Chromedome's vehicle mode.

My Getaway works out fine though.

My son's TR Chromedome has the same problem as yours. The one tab just won't go in the hole. My Legends Chromedome is fine, as well as my Getaway.

    Thanks.

Turns out I didn't push the 2 tabs of the hood into the holes in the body. After doing that and then flipping the chest up, the chest and hood lined up correctly.

I had to do a little tab shaving as well to have the hood snap in smoothly

Well I bought a third Chromedome. Not only does he transform well, but all of his joints are noticeably tighter than my previous one. I just got two loose duds in a row, it seems.
