Should have mine tomorrow or day after, will be vid reviewing him.
I've got mine but am overseas so can't touch it. Back tomorrow
Wow! I must say that when it comes to figures that should be big and boxy and buff looking ToyWorld really hits the mark! ^^ I'm glad I've got him ordered, can't wait to have him in hand
That's only $2 materials cost you're talking about. If the extra parts were unable to fit within a single plastic sprue and facilitated the use of another mold, then you're probably talking an extra $50-100k.
I love the FP headmasters I have but the toyworld headmasters are just more fun. It is about the size and about how easily the little guys interact with the vehicle. TW really get the use of weapons and accessories - lots of them and lots of holes to put them in.
I find the TW Headmasters to be too lazy in the engineering department. I especially hate how the Headmaster face isn't hidden when the partner is in robot mode. This one looks to be the best of the 3, but I'd have to see FP's version first.
Look forward to it
Think it's released in the UK sometime early July - so seeing a video before would be great
Hardbone certainly was more fun to play with i.e. his weapon options are so varied and can be integrated in many poses.
Vid review = photos will also be taken.
I always post my photos here first: https://www.flickr.com/photos/lazyaza/ and then imbed them in tfw.
Fixed. Sorry for the confusion.
No one has him yet dea, and if they do they can't take photos apparently.
Is this guy based on a G1 Character
I've always thought that Toyworld makes the most official looking figures. Almost all their figures design wise you could see being made by Hasbro or Takara. They typically don't have crazy transformation steps, they are solidly built, etc. That said I prefer the look of FPs headmasters so I'm just hoping they do them all eventually.
Damn thats nice. may just have to nab this one.
Yeah, first thing this guy is getting is articulated hands.
Skullcruncher was a decepticon, he's on the far right here:
I'll have mine in 90 minutes or less. Photos incoming then. If you want to see any specific shots, comparisons etc let me know.
How he compares to any Function X if you have them.
Well size wise ToyWorld is ultra sized and FP are large deluxe
