I will admit that he's not perfect, but the ball joints are fine. Heck are you planning on shaking the figure? Honestly, I will have him in one pose. Head won't be moving too often. But yes, I do wish the little guy was more accurate.

Definitely looks cool, Id get it if I had the extra cash, but I'm going to stick with the F(x) stuff. They're much more interesting to me and their heads look way better with their slender proportions and lack of a backpack.

While I would have been okay with the Headmaster looking like Duros, I really like that it looks like a small version of Hardbone.

I'm also glad they went with the bright green. :)

I'm doing both. I'd be surprised if Toy World's next to HM's directly conflict with the FP Code X series.

whats up with the translucent orange tip. Cheapens the look and makes it look like a kids toy.

Easily removed though... just keep it in the box if ya don't like it, right? "Kid's toy"... hahaha... it IS a kid's toy... for adult children like ourselves.

Just got this and I managed to sit his Headmaster in one go in the cockpit. Sure his leg is not out straight, but it's not as if he is hugging his knees either. The distance between his chest and leg is still really far, let's just say it's closer to how a human being would steer a car. I am not sure what's going through the mind of those people who turned him into head mode in order for him to fit in the cockpit.

The tank mode is just gorgeous. Haven't done the transformation.

    Not much I expect.

I told everyone and showed everyone pics proving it was possible ages ago yet the same old crap kept on resurfacing.

How does it cheapen it? It matches the color of the cockpit and can detach and connect with the rifles.

Skipping this. I already have Head Robots' version, and I'm kind of miffed at Toyworld for the Aurora debacle.

I put a little super glue on the ball joints and that stiffened things up sufficiently enough that it's not as floppy as i had originally shown.

I love it. I have it on order and I think it will replace my Headrobot+hasbro version. The size is nice too. The headrobots are a little lacking in their robot mode.

Optobotimus's review put the nail in the coffin of my preorder of this fig. It also makes me very glad that Fansprojects head-bots don't have ball joints.
I just don't like the aesthetics of HB. The only thing he has in common with G1 Hardhead is the H-tank configuration and the offset giant cannon. He looks like a great figure, but I still like the Hasbro/Headrobots as my Hardhead. I know Hardbone is closer to Hardhead in alt mode, but I really like the Headrobots head I also love the colors.
I'm just going to wait it out and see if fansproject comes out with a Hardhead of their own. I love Code and the protos of the next couple FP headmasters and want a Hardhead that fits in with those designs.

They had made Aurora a BBTS exclusive at one point, which prompted much in the way of fan backlash as Grindrod had been available to all shops, and the group are needed entirely to form whatever gestalt they form. People felt Captured Prey was especially shafted since noone but CP would carry Hegemon, and CP took the risk, which amounted in TW getting the bulk of their initial sales from CP.

Wow..that is F'd up. It doesn't even make any sense for them to have even done that!

    Sorry for the derailment here.

Im with ya, but i need a place filler and hardbone gets the job, till f.p make him (fingers crossed)
I guess with fansproject were never gonna know till real near the time if they decide to do hardhead,
    I sincerely hope they do,
Im guessing mindwipe and skullcruncher will be next (after brainstorm and weirdwolf that is) could potentially see a Sept/Oct release for those two,
So if fansproject do hardhead and highbrow then id guess at release this time next year.

Mine arrived today and is not bright fluorescent green. Are there multiple versions or is it just the flash in the photos?

More headmasters please (TW, FP or otherwise)!
