Very cool, good size. Just not something I can drop $100 on right now
Man that green is so annoying I love it.
Looks great next to Code.
Wow, the size difference between Code and this doesn't justify Code's price and he just pales in comparison. Did Tfsource allow cancellation cause i might cancel my code preorder.....
Code has a lot more going on transformation wise though. One is $70 and the other is $110. That's a decent $40 difference.
I really dig the green. If only the translucent bits weren't so doofy. The treads and the buttflap are the only other things that give me pause, but I would like to pick him. I love his arsenal.
It's cool that you can use the G1 Headmaster on him.
^ Ye, I already factored in the shipping price for Code when I made the comparison so I guess it's not as bad. Still, 100 bucks (shippin inc) for something this small is mighty tough to swallow.
Ugh, dat green...
Gladly staying with my Universe Hardhead with Head Robots kit.
I may be back on board with this guy.
The black piece on the shoulder cannon moves up and down. Have you figured out why that's there yet?It was also pointed out that his waist slides forward and it was unknown why.
So with TFSource now having this and Aurora as preorders does this mean that Captured Prey will be getting them as well?
Yeah, Code really looks lackluster compared to Hardbone. Especially when looking at the small headmaster figure.
Hardbone's headmaster is very disappointing. Sure he has ball jointed everything, but it comes at a price. In head mode, the slightest touch makes the arms and legs flop all around. Just watch optibotimus's review to see this.
Aesthetically I don't like the G1 Headmaster at all. How in any way shape or form is this supposed to be Duros???? Not even one detail of the pilot is the same as G1 Duros. So... Who the hell is this new pilot supposed to be?
Just repreordered. Sorry. I love this figure waaaay to much.
It sucks because FP Chromedome is a nice figure, but TW really makes me curious about their other (potential) Headmaster offerings. If they're as good as Hardhead, then I may have to switch to them for the rest. However, I'm still eager to see the other Headmaster releases from FP.
Since I picked up the Japanese collection, the Headmaster's have been growing on me.
That said, both FP's Chromedome and TW's Hardhead look great. It's just so difficult at this stage in the game, with most already purchasing Chromedome, to make a switch to Toyworld in hopes that they put out a similar or better (if possible) Chromedome.
Not to mention, we know FP's track record. TW is definitely making a name for themselves. I'm just so divided and torn as to which way to go.
Also, if both companies are tackling the headmasters, would that mean that one or both have a Fort Max and/or Scorponok planned?
Gah, why does everything have to come out at the same time and look so good?!? I sort of miss the days when one 3rd party would tackle one thing and another would tackle something else. The fact that many are offering their own takes on the same characters/teams is maddening!
MMC and TFC seem likely (Planet X too), but this is based more on their respective bodies of work. They've tackled the larger scale stuff.
agreed- seeing them side by side makes me happy I didn't order this. Although it is a nice fig
Why did they go with neon green?
I'm... not adequetly impressed. The transformtion is neat enough and overall proportions are fine but... those feet, with the clear orange heel? And why is all that treading dangling off the back of his shoulders instead of being integrated into his lower arms? The treads don't work, so it's not like functionality would be sacrificed...
Just not feeling it, gentlemen (And ladies, if any of them are here). I'll leave this one to the enthusiasts!
