Looks great. Not sure what the point of two similar looking gas masks is.

Looks great. The one head configuration I still really want to see is the circle-eyed gasmask with no hat, I think that will be my favorite look

I didn't like the maskless face before those pics, but they're really making it shine. Before them I was leaning heavily towards the round-eyed gas mask. Either way I'll be going for the pith helmeted look over the peaked cap, as long as it transforms while wearing it.

That's a pretty snazzy deco! I wasn't interested at all before I saw the final painted version, and I will still probably pass on this, but it at least looks good enough to fit in with the Studio Series figures

That looks fantastic. The helmet on the unmasked head really does make him look like Tik-tok from Return to Oz. lol I can’t wait to get him.

I love the gas mask look this guy rocks. I think he’ll look awesome with the other Studio Series figures, especially the Autobots; they could use a bit more beef with Devastator on the horizon.

This looks fun (I love the tank mode!!!), but I absolutely loathe this Bayverse aesthetic.

Specifically: why does the robot mode look so time-period specific when TF's are supposed to be from another planet (i.e. culture).

I understand the human/consumer appeal of designing him this way, but when you have a movie focused on creating believable alien robots, it's more than silly to make them this humanoid. I mean, Bay-TFs don't have noses, right? Because they're aliens? So why do they need pseudo-mustaches?

And it's not that I even hate the face (I rather like it); it's that the face and body and aesthetic just don't match up, imo. It's like a hideous Mr. Potato Head of ideas.

Woah, you’re right! Only instead of his round, shiney, cuddly suit he’s wearing his warmurder armor. I want him even more now.

It's how he was in TLK. Why does Ironhide from the cartoon sound like he's from Texas?

The first movie stated they learned Earth's languages from the World Wide Web. It's a fairly logical assumption they found on the internet other instances and decided to mimic those, including aesthetics.

And uh... live-action Transformers are a mixed bag of facial appearances just like G1 is. Some have facial hair, some have noses, some have visors for eyes. So I don't see the problem here.
