@Illiterate Scholar @Rijie78 I think the official MPM 12 just has a matrix chamber, and that is the only advantage. FYI, to me the angles in the product shots and what I see...his back end seem way too long, longer than TW and WJ's FS.

 

I mean, to be fair to Hasbro, MPM-12 will probably have better QC and no tolerance issues like Freedom Leader. It just doesn't look as premium as Freedom Leader or even Fire Scorpion. Also, TW and WJ's spine also looks better and more detailed.

Plastic was cracking on people with little to no interaction, and to my knowledge nothing was really done to help anyone who got him. One of the reasons people have been constantly questioning the QC on Takara MP releases.

 

HOLY CRAP! I would be pissed if I owned one of these! So much for better QC with official figures. I mean, yeah, I never thought it would be 100% perfect, but I never imaged it would be this bad!

 

Plus they are charging far more than 3rd party figures. For those prices, flaws like these are unacceptable.

 

Update on the boku trailer ride height mod and trailer hitch, its 3d printed and i just need to source some screws of the correct length and file the tolerances

Apparently it's the same as the UFO trailer, which I have... Ans I also missed the post(s) about those 3D printed adjustment parts, would be nice to have a bit more info (like how it will look )

 

Like this but with an improved ride height, picture doesn't show it as my bed isn't a flat surface but it tilts down and I have an adapter so the peg on the trailer will fit in the gap on the legs here properly rather than bouncing around loose

 

Can anyone tell me why this doesn't have cat ears? Everybody knows that is the best look.

 

Almost every BBM Prime figure lacks cat ears.

 

Takara definitely has the market cornered on hilariously bad and unnecessary feline appendages.

 

Pfft, the cat ears are only for the cheap Chinese KO versions. You know you're buying the legit product if it doesn't have the cat ears.

 

People who don't want the cat ears probably just can't afford the good stuff.

 

I am really close to getting this figure but I need to know Monocrat Megs will be up to par, otherwise this will dwarf most any other Megs I'd otherwise care to own...
Could someone who owns this perhaps take a photo of it next to the MPM Megs please?

 

Trailer wheel spacer in 90% of the way, need to make the ends of the holes at one end wider so that the screw holding tubes sit inside it and file out the tolerance for the spring holder as the spring is trapped currently but once thats done I have a trailer at the right hieght to sit on freedom leader even if the scale is wacky, its still closer than that hasbro "masterpiece" :V

 

Welp, that was not the result I wanted, but here's to say this guy won't be my, "occasional transform and back" figure.
