That does not mean you can't add something like a ratchet joint at the ankle, allowing it to fold up in truck mode and rest on the back.

The bigger question is what changed with the feet... And from what I can see in these shots, the feet on the prototype were turned around the opposite direction and didn't even have the toes attached. So from that, we can deduce that.... nothings changed.

I hope that's not the case and it's just the head not being pegged properly. But hey, feet showing on the alt-mode, right?

Obviously talking from the result. Not the aesthetic.

You can obviously have a great robot when the alt mode it's lackluster.

    Green - Diecast Arms
    Orange - Joints
It would kind of work like SS-38, except the shins are now arms, the feet are connected to the arms, and the calves now cover the arms. The feet would connect to the buet and thighs, then the feet would tab back into bottom of the legs when in robot mode. So you would end up with something like SS-38

I know right this thing looks crazy accurate and people complain about silly bullshit like I’m just grateful this thing actually transforms and doesn’t cost 400 dollars the only downside for me is the size

Not even going to lie, All these coloured pictures have made my insecurities about pre-ordering this go away. It's slightly shorter than my Black Mamba Optimus which works wonderfully for me.

The colours and accuracy are blowing me away and transformation seems like it'll be interesting to say the least. Nitpicks aside I'm in, if I don't wanna see the dopey truck feet. I'll put it in Robot mode :D

This thing looks great as It is.

However, looking for a decent looking truck it's not just "bs".

Now, this is something i don't get.

If you don't care about the truck mode...why not just get a 3A dlx which it's definitely more articulated and has no compromsses at all?.

    Just asking.

Personally, I like my transformers to transform. I also prioritize robot mode over alt mode. So with this, I get the best of both worlds.

Coz I like transforming my figures. I don't get the same pleasure from something that's just purely poseable. My main point wasn't that I dislike the truck.

Not at all, I think the truck still looks rad and yeah the feet might look dopey. But it's no worse imo than thicc MP10.

My point was more, if in-hand I hate the feet. It'll spend less time in Alt mode, more in robot. But will still overall spend time in both. With my Black Mamba optimus for example, some weeks it's Alt mode, some Bot. I like showing off both modes and actually fiddling with my figures.

Love the respect man, We're all in it for the Transformers <3

Trust me I adore the 3A stuff, it's just not for me I suppose. Ever since I was a kid Transformers were about the style and transformations. That's what gave me that joy of collecting and that still applies.

Oh absolutely same, now I'm just looking for the cheapest place to buy it in AUD hahaha

You just made me realize, he has 2 tab slots on the truck bed that are there where a trailer hitch would be. Wonder if its somehow a small enough truck that it works with the MP-10 trailer? Or maybe its meant to work with the MPP10 trailer?

I forgot about that price, it makes this even more attractive.

I'd like to see if it scales with the DotM leader UFO trailer....

    Impressive level of articulation!

I have to agree about the bumper. It is a bit too big and blocky.

Quoting you guys as a starting point in the convo, not meant to put you guys on the spot.

Dunno what currency you're quoting here... the 3A prime is $190USD and the premium version of Toyworld TW09 is around $175USD... not much of a difference. If you care about transformation, the TW is going to be a great deal, but the price diff is not $200USD.

I also see a lot of complaints about the "feet" in alt-mode... price to pay for transformation IMHO. Are you going to support the vendor or not? What is it that you're really looking for in a movie BB Prime? I honestly don't think anyone TRULY cares about the truck mode. You can get that now in every modern interpretation of G1 OP.

For the record, I've pre-ordered both the 3A and TW.

Probably quoting AUD$, it is close to $400 to preorder 3A for us and on the lower $200's for the proposed price of Toyworld
