Yeah its not at all surprising. Just thought I'd post something that explains it just in case, cause i'm sure we'll need it at some point. :D

I told myself I'd only look at legends from 3Ps, but I'd be lying if I said I had no interest in this. The design is amazing in my opinion, and this beautifully recaptures it. I'm not really thrilled it's MP scaled, as I don't have that much space for higher figures, but I'd make an exception for this. Curious on the price, as that's the make-it-or-break-it factor for me.

Seeing as how their TLK Prime is $140, I'd put this at around $170, so if I were you, I'd have $200 on standby for deployment. Unless even $170 isn't even worth it to you.

Yeah, that’s more than I like to spend on one figure...

Regardless, I’ll still check this thread, as it looks like a great toy all around.

The 3A version will probably be $200-250. If this has the same level of paint as their prototype head, it'll be a great counter for the 3A figure, with the bonus of transforming and being less expensive. (Even if I only transform it once or twice in my life, having that ability is a bonus.) I doubt HasTak would do much better with a MPM version, so this is definitely my leading choice for a high end BB Optimus.

Ironically enough the overall proportions of prime seem to be captured more accurately on this figure than 3A prime

3A is always on the money, that's the point of their statues. This figure has less "grace" when it comes to it's proportions; if you look at his upperback, you can see it's more bulky; if you look at his chest, it's a bit wider; and if you look at his legs, they are less curvy. The thighs are thinner than it's movie counterpart (which is too wide in my opinion), and the calves are less defined.

Ahhh u are right. I think the head still looks a bit better tho than it’s 3A counterpart

There’s things to love about both. Proportions are slightly more accurate on the 3A, however I like the more heroic proportions of Toyworld’s. The head is less narrow too, which is nice. It’s true that the 3A has more details, but I mean...it doesn’t transform, so that comparison is moot. The fact that TW’s even looks this good at all is remarkable - I’d say it outclasses Unique Toys’ engineering.

Assuming both figures are built and painted well, have good articulation with ratchets where necessary, and priced roughly equivalent, my choice at this moment is Toyworld’s. But we’ll see!

Bumblebee's design is pretty good, BUT WHY ARE HIS FEET LARGER THAN OPTIMUS'S ?

Also, now that I take a long, good look at 3A's Optimus, I realize how lanky he is; TW's figure does look cooler to me.
