Yes but is pretty better hidden than TW.  

 

The overall legs are much better hidden on Toyworld's. Only the feet are left behind, and its clear people can't see past them.

 

I don't like the truck with feet, sincerely. TW has a great looking bot mode, but truck mode isn't shiny like the movie and poor accurate. But ah... the bot mode... is pure love.

 

I almost want to believe that the thigh plates fold up and become a chain rack on the back of his truck cab. But it's not the first Optimus that's rear wheels are robot legs.

 

One thing that I'm not sure is coming across in the pictures so far is whether there is any gloss at all in the red, silver and blue paint on this. I don't like the heavily rusty, weathered deco, and the truck mode particularly suffers for it, but I'm willing to look past it because the figure looks so good. If the red and blue areas are completely matted and dirty with no shine then that would be a real turn off for me.

 

I'm in the same situation. I paid the full balance but the truck mode is a total mess for me. Dirty, rusty, heavy weathered, not shiny, weird truck with feet, too panelized... But the bot mode is very very good. I prefer balanced aesthetics in both modes. I think there isn't figure that nailed it yet in both forms.

 

It's so weird I guess that to me and for me, the FS version fits the first portion I quote AND DOES nail it in both forms.  

 

I don't know man, FS's chest is just weirdly blocky and visually inferior to TW's imo. Still, curious about the price.

I still think Toyworld is the best looking of the bunch, excluding 3A for obvious reasons. If it wasn't for all the extra fluff that's jacking up its price I think it would be the most attractive package, even with the drama that people have about the feet in alt mode.

 

Oh no doubt, the TW is a stunning piece. I am however tho, Warming up to the FS version. I think I need to see more pics, the ones taken so far don't do it justice.

 

Personally, I think Toyworld's improves on the cgi model. Broader chest and narrower thighs makes him look more like Optimus.

 

IDK if I particularly like that aesthetic on that style of body.
While it works better on TE01 than that of MP44, the wider chest makes him look more toon accurate to a degree depending on the scene, but fits other interpretations that have also been presented, and quite fits the 86' movie well.

In this instance, I like the idea of the skinnier body, it makes Prime seem young and more agile then buff and seasoned.

shorter head..a lot of these 3rd party figs and even 3A made his head way too tall in some cases.

Overall, yes I love TW's but I am just saying, I am warming to the FS.. Doesn't mean I prefer that one over this. I just don't know I necessarily want to go with TW, when the FS could be in a prefinal stage, which could make it even better with refining. Or maybe another 3rd party Like Possibly Transcraft, perhaps..
I'm in wait and see mode at this point is all I'm saying.

It's like they took an already heavily G1-influenced design and decided it wasn't blocky and rigid enough. I don't like it at all. Some of the details are nice but TW has that too.
