Really? That’s strange I have had nothing but good experiences with Tfsource.
I don't use TFSource unless I have to since they charge a lot for shipping and it still takes a while to get to me. Of course they're in Cali and I'm in NY so that's part of it but then they shouldn't charge as much.
TFSource is not in Cali. They have a warehouse in Nevada, but their business is somewhere in the MidWest.
BBTS also now stings you for Sales Tax, and it's not just per item . I had a couple of items in my Pile of Loot and once I added a big ticket item and hit ship, spent over $30usd in tax for everything. Which completely throws their "discount" for $4 shipping out the window.
I haven't had many problems with TFS, but you go wherever works best for you.
I live in PA and they have a shipping warehouse here too. It did take a year and a day for my order to ship from there, however.
It could have been a fluke but it was enough to put me off doing business with them if I can help it
Seriously? chinese sellers increase prices for the us sellers cryings??... son of a...
Honestly, they're about the last place I consider for my purchases because of crap like this. Undercut them all ya want.
Now is listed on 185$ on ShowZ... WTF is going on!?.
I think I will wait on that figure. What I am seeing about price gauging and even the price in the first place is disgusting me.
I will remain watching till the situation will be more clear. Great figure, but I don't like being taken for a ride.
I'm in the same situation. Very expensive figure that becomes more expensive because of the the cryings of US Sellers. I really like the figure but they just lost my support right now and I don't know what to do.
ShowZ is known for the "price dancings". They send you an email saying "oh hey, we increased the price, if you like it pay the balance, if you don't like you can cancell the order".
In spain the commerce laws are pretty different. If you pre-order something at one price, they CAN'T change that price if you paid the deposit, neither before or after of paying the full balance. (But they use the trick "out of stock").
I've noticed that as stock levels go down, sometimes the Chinese sellers will increase their prices so that they are closer to retail. I just purchased the last deluxe version from Baba's site last night for $165 shipped.
Which stock? there's no stock yet, it's a pre-order.
Yeah that is how things should be managed.
ShowZ and every chinese seller use they own laws. The law of "if you don't like it, screw you".
Okay, well then their level of pre-orders available. But also, I just meant on stock levels of other figures in the past.
What I wouldn't give to have a separate high end transformers and legends forum where I didn't have to read about people bitching prices every other post.
"High end tranformers"
Exactly. It's a free market. Let your money do the talking. Don't like the price? Then don't preorder. Wait for store discounts, preowned, etc. Or even wait for the second run which is usually cheaper. The irony is that despite all these complaints and rants, many people here will end up preordering anyway
You're right, but we have the right to be angry, because we're costumers. Imagine that you gonna buy a car with a concret budget, then, to the next day the car is more expensive because the sellers are crying about the price. Is this fair for us?. Maybe there are people that don't mind the increasing prices, but there are too family man saving money for this "high end transformers".
I collect toys between 15$ and 700$ since 28 years and I don't throw shit to a Legend Figures or otherelse figures, because I learned that EVERY collection is important to their owners, because brings happiness... Collectors must had respect between collectors.
