interesting, the more i look at the comparison i like the fire scorpion more. I think the ab section looks better, the legs look better. wish we could see the back though.

Tw wins in terms of bot mode but fs has the better alt mode even if only slightly

I'd like to see a 3rd party company to apply a leg transformation similar to ss-38

FL doesn't really crush FS in bot mode, but it's the proportions that win it for me. The negatives

    FL
    - the forearms are too short
    - the hands have no true knuckles
    - he has no neck
    - he has all the feets in truck mode
    FS
    - The chest and torso are too big
    - the head is super off in terms of design
    - the thighs are too thick and curved
    - the hands are too small
    - the truck cab looks like SS-38's cab, which wasn't accurate to begin with

Exactlly, I love how SS-38's legs transform, the fact they're the realistic kind of truck bed hollow is why I was so excited to see an MP BB Optimus. Toyworld could have easily add armitures to legs, allowing for the feet to be stowed right behind the cab, making them less obnoxous.

Who knows, maybe the Fire Scorpion Prime will be the same height as MPM 4, that'd give some people the incentive to pick it up without directly competing with Toyworld

That was what I was thinking but I think that it's going to be BIGGER than Toyworld's.

If that's the case hopefully that figure sells okay, I've never heard of the company but I think they have potential with more Movie Characters. Wish there were fewer companies trying to make a BB movie Prime, if someone made a good looking Blitzwing I'm sure that'd sell like hotcakes

Does anyone know if that's how this Prime's paint job will be when he releases? The glossy and metallic finish is really nice but I'm pretty sure it's the hand-painted Prototype right?

So... how about that Toyworld Optimus, huh? Boy somebody should make a thread to talk about that guy, huh? I keep looking for a thread dedicated to him but I keep finding myself in this fire scorpion thread instead somehow.

And Trans Craft have also hinted a BB Prime... So I guess the best option will be to wait for the eventual Black Apple reworked MP BB OP KO :lol

Toyworld's is still by far the best transforming BBOP if you want accuracy in bot mode. I'm still happy with it (except the feet in alt mode, but then again I was never happy with that). IMO this new fire whatever doesn't add anything to the mix except fixing that one shortcoming. I'm the same as I was before it was revealed.

I'm still satisfied with the Toyworld design. It's not that everybody has turned away - it's that everything worth saying has been said so those who are happy just aren't saying anything and those who aren't are talking about some other figure even though that figure has its own thread.

Mine is going to be in robot mode the majority of the time so I don’t think the feet bothers me that much. Just knowing that the figure I have in hand actually does transform into something 90% there is more than good enough for me!

The funniest thing to me is that the other prime's vehicle mode is considered a huge step up simply because it has no feet on the back. Completely ignoring the fact that he has the entirety of his legs exposed on the back, a giant panel for his head sticking out, visible arms in the back, a ton of exposed hinges, and a whole other model of truck.

The feet on the Toyworld are a small price to pay I feel, the other one does do that better though you can’t deny. Everything else just makes it look like they wanted to turn SS-38 into an MPM figure but couldn’t be bothered to put in the effort.

I’ll be honest with you: I didn’t really look too hard at the fire one. It just doesn’t appeal to me even at first glance after the awesomeness that is toyworld’s version. The proportions are wrong, the details are wrong, the truck is the wrong truck (based off SS38) anyway and looks weird from the front. Just noticed that it doesn’t have the feet which is good.
