Iron Factory is already doing a legends one.
It may not be accurate, but it looks... better?

Anyway, this is the problem with anyone doing anything outside of G1: Those chicken-shits only dare to do non-G1 Prime or Megatron.
They don't need to be encouraged.
Let them do a Tarantulas or a Silverbolt next instead of yet another Megs or Prime.
If this Megatron is ever even going to see the light of day.

 

Yes I’m aware but it looks too small to me and would work better with my G1 legends and not my beast wars ones.
And 3rd party can do what they want, if there was a limit on Primes for instance we would have never gotten the magic square or transform element primes. Plus at legends scale it’s not like they take up much room. I understand where you are coming from but not every figure is right for everyone’s collection, it’s good to have alternatives. Be patient, there was a time when I was told I’d never see an Arcee figure, unicron will never happen, be glad you getting alternator figures, it’s not like they will ever make exact G1 based figures outside of MP-01.

 

I understand that IF's Megatron might be too small. I hope not, because he's pricey for a legends scaled figure.
I hope he'll be at least two times TE Blackarachnia's size.

Okay, so there have been several photos of both versions in their box posted on Facebook, but I can’t find a single listing of the A version for sale anywhere online except for ToyWorld’s actual website... what the hell?

Okay, then this I agree to. Standard OR MP sized. I have the original, and sadly due to the brown plastic suffering from GPS (yes, it's technically BPS) I can't transform it anymore. And the Takara one is way too expensive. Haven't decided if I'm going to get this yet, but even if I do, I'd go in for one in larger size.

 

I'm buying this just for that mini duckies

 

in that case you could also buy either of the Grimlock versions as well, since they all come with the pair of duckies - just get whatever version's cheapest then...  

(I put some wireless earbuds next to them, so you could see how tiny they are!)

 

Oh my God. I wonder if I can even hold them between my fingers.

 

I think just by trying to pick them out of the packaging they’d get stuck under my fingernail and probably absorbed into my bloodstream before I could dig them out they’re so tiny!!

 

Just got my shipping notice from @ShowZStore for Megsy.

 

Just ordered the Japan colored one from Baba.

 

I don't really have any use for this other than to pose hovering in front of MP-01 to replicate the scene from the end of season 2...but that might just be enough!
