So this is legends scale? 12cm is 4 inches. That's smaller than the original.

 

I thought Toyworld just made Constructor

 

finally someone created a TM megs but damn it.....it’s legends scale and it’s a really great looking figure on top of that.

 

Surprise, surprise; ANOTHER Toyworld announcement.... At least it's not just a drawing or a head this time but something in actual production sample state. Maybe Toyworld should concentrate just on legends.

 

Some comps  

 

We are going to see more legends from a lot of companies, they are easier to make and produce. Likely cheaper too. You can make these in a factory pretty quickly. People want them, and they can put 3 or 4 of these out while they work on their next MP scale and not have people on the boards going ""is this company dead?"" When was the last time one of their figures came out?"

Also you can use this figure to shoot a MP prime in the head.

 

I prefer metallic over chrome.

 

...despite transmetal megatron being one of my all-time favorites, i'm just not feeling it...

...legends-scale?..maybe that's part of what's throwing him off to my eyes...

...maybe it's the washed-out color selection; perfect effect have demonstrated that high-quality metallic paints don't leave me missing the chrome at all...

...honestly, i think it's the sculpt: too lithe, not enough robotic bulk and sharp mechanical detail in his form...

 

I think he looks screen accurate if you account for the differing angles of the shots. And, yes, I will absolutely pose him with MP-44, especially if a hastak or a KO company makes a sleep mode repaint.

Awesome! A greater variety of legends figures is always a good thing in my books, and I loved the original toy of this guy - and the ankle articulation improves on that. Looking forward to him!

I'm holding out for the weathered, translucent, rainbow edition. I hear if you preorder early enough you also get an attachment that let's double as an FM radio.

Man they really need to work on the head sculpt  

Although does the head on the prototype figure look a tad better?

 

Not feeling the robot head but the dino mode looks really good. Instant buy!
