not sure if thats fair as clearly the original teaser the "camera angle" if you will is from a low angle so he appears tall and has proportionally long legs. the current pics aren't from same angle so it will look shorter and squatter. That being said it merely exaggerates a very real problem....the proportions aren't right. It still looks decent buts not accurate to that design except in alt mode (which seems to have taken priority). hopefully they will adjust the leg design to give a taller leaner bot as well as the flared lower leg design. even as it, its decent....decent but is it good enough? and lets face it, "good enough" is never good enough.

 

That digi bash looks great now use some photoshop magic and put a to scale faith leader anime head on him!

 

I kinda like it, and will probably buy it. Chase is where I am not feeling the love.

The information was covered in the news on several web sites. Then a guy named Matt Booker posted his fan-digibase of the toy in color in his blog. He even put his name on top of the photo:

Now people have remarked in the tformers news thread that this is a fan digibash, but no one takes the news story down at tformers, because the news staff doesn't seem to read their own threads:

I think people get a little too anxious to report news and end up reporting "news".

the windsheild chest, the pieces should be rectangular and the antenae should be longer and angled outward. Other than that it looks pretty cool, and depending on the price I may get this as my new classics prime.

Not quite feeling this one as much as Hegemon. I'm not saying G1 is the gold standard for everything, but I just think the design choices should be somewhat consistent within the same line, especially when Hegemon's so widely hailed as one of the most G1-accurate Megs.

I'm glad he didn't end up with the super-shins but boy that really shows just how squat and square the figure is compared to what it ideally would be.

 

The exact same thing happened to NECIO's digibashes of TFC Uranos. Heck, some sites STILL use his pics, even though the real things have been released with different paint jobs...
