Confusing ...

I have to imagine there is a big enough demand for a reissue of the traditional Megatron colors. Or am I naive?

 

How is it random? The original toy was black and brown.

 

I am all sorts of confused about what is being released. As much as I want this mold, I'll hold out until some images are up of what we're actually getting.

 

Regardless of how you think, it's still not random, it has it's origins the exact same way as the silver colored one, in a toy from the 80s.

Now pink or neon orange, yeh that's random.

 

I really hope they do stick to the original toy colors!

It's random to what you want, I get that, but the colors make perfect sense if they are homaging the MC-12 Gun Robo Walther P-38.

 

The black deco has precedent. Even if it didn't it seems like there's always a reason to repaint a figure black. Think of how many figures that have original painting and then a black deco ... just because.

 

Even if TW did re-release the original deco of Hegemon, you'd be disappointed to know it wouldn't be white or silver since the original deco is unpainted (swirly) gray plastic.  

A black Hegemon.... I'd have to see pictures of it first before deciding. I usually make it a point not to purchase black redeco's of figures (was never a fan of Nemesis Prime or Scourge personally) but the black redeco of Orion does look very cool, admittedly. Plus he comes with a new hat, er, energon axe.

What is different about it? Looks the same to me.

 

I don't get it... looks just like TW-01A. They better release some REAL pics soon... this is a bit annoying so far.

 

I had to look again but there are some additional painted areas like the red on the chest but other than that it looks very much the same. There is the alternate head which hasn't been revealed yet. These are the official images from ToyWorld =P If anyone wants to change their order please shoot us an email.

 

yeah...i'm just as shocked....got the email...just days after them saying this isn't a reissue but it sort of is lol just a few different paint apps....looks like a reissue to me lol

 

Neat, though I would have preferred the additional red paint apps to go on the sides of his ribs rather than the little vents on his chest.

 

there's additional red on the chest, the red on the abdomen is now black, the black on the feet is now red, and there's a dark grey on the top of the legs and shins

 

Still no pics of the black version?
