Maybe they just split in half so he can have four.

id like them to do it because i like the 4 blade design though i fear it would be difficult to pull it off and not come off as finicky

I feel it could be done well. Unique Toys would do it well probably.

god I hope these aren’t non transforming figures. I collect transformers not just action figures, and I need good well designed transforming representations of these designs because I doubt Hasbro will get it 100% right.

That's Toyworld explaining why they're not doing Shockwave or Soundwave---because they didn't have alt-modes in the movie, and didn't transform. They're not talking about Shatter and Dropkick.

I think an even more likely answer, is that they designed the robot mode while referencing a current, fairly common AH-1Z version, which is 4-bladed, and didn't notice that the alt-mode's CG model etc was a 2-bladed 80's version. (happens to a lot of aircraft---if you just google pics of it, of course most pics are going to be 2000+ versions)

But as mentioned---it could also be a last-minute change by someone higher-up who thought "it'd look cooler that way" even if it messes with the alt-mode accuracy/realism---that definitely happened to Blitzwing, whose earlier/concept markings were spot-on, but at the last minute were changed a bit to be a fictional Frankenstein of different types of F-4 markings, making him a self-hating own-rival "Air Force Navy" plane...

They weren't. A ToyWorld rep came on here and said they weren't sure yet because they have no known alt modes and therefore wouldn't transform.
