Wouldn't it sta d to reason that if there were any news about this it would be posted in this thread?

 

I'm looking for any update, rumor, or speculation.
If a date was already publicly release information I could just google it, but instead I'm going to boards to get an update to see if anyone has a clue about possiblely when. What quarter of which year they expect it. I ask since so many things seem to take forever and I would like to know if I should just get Unique Toys version.

 

Well, TW showed off the gray prototype in July last year... and that's the last anyone's heard of it.

They've actually shown a lot of prototypes, but the only thing they've actually released since then is a Legends-class Wheeljack.

When there is even a tiny bit of news, it gets posted on these boards. Almost immediately.

I'd be shocked if this ever gets released.

 

Why it's only been a few months, it will come out this year

 

I do admit massive pessimism on my part, though Toyworld's m.o. lately doesnt exactly fill me with confidence. They seem to just be snapping up a bunch of different freelance designs, hoping one will eventually become a hit. I guess the Transform Dreamwave kits have shown that there is still interest in CW upgrade kits, so maybe it will turn out well for them.

 

I'm still interested if this ever gets made. The Hasbro one looks nice on its own merits, but completely fails as a torso bot. Glad this set has new feet and hands, that mean my Abominus can keep the PE set.

 

Unique Toys don't have a Motormaster

 

I hope so, but think that's hugely optimistic - Toyworld doesn't appear to be in a good place right now, and clearly has Constructor sat firmly in the molds pumping out endless repaints. I'd perhaps be surprised if this ever arrives tbh.

 

Well, yeah, that too. I meant the only new thing released.

 

I was in for this and Onslaught but Toyworld seems all over the place. I think it’s too late, esp with so many 3rd party and oversized combiners now showing up. I’ve moved on to 17-18 inch combiners for chug.

 

I might have bought this if the botmode was voyager sized.
If they wanted to make a leader sized torso-bot they should have just made their own Motormaster.
I would buy a cw compatible voyager sized Hun-Gurr without thinking though. And a deluxe sized cw compatible Brawl as well.

 

I'd buy the prototype if they sold it......I really want to see them bring this to fruition.
