What a tease !!!

 

Translation/Localization: We're looking for ideas for other accessories for Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp. We'll put the top 3 suggestions to a vote.

That said, I just got an email from them asking for your ideas about accessories, besides the obvious ones (Crown/Cape, Megatron gun, pilot, Arkeville). So here's your chance to get some new kind of accessories made.

I'll take the suggestions from this thread, translate them and send them off to TW.

 

Megatron's damaged body so that Starscream can say: "oh, how it pains me to do this..."

 

Nope. Looks to have the same "nose that doesn't fit the forward fuselage" as the others, but without the conehead to excuse it away. And that big horizontal seam/gap on the forward fuselage.

Also still has the curved intakes. That's acceptable on the "fantasy modified F-15" cone head seekers, but not a "real" F-15 alt-mode.

 

Looks better than the Takara MP versions. I hope they do all the re-colors. As for accessories, hopefully not the same as Takara. The Megatron gun is useless. Not really sure.

 

The Seekers will be a harder sell. I'll probably stick with my $60 Hasbro MP-11.

But again, put out Ramjet in G2 colours and my wallet will be helpless.

 

I'd like to see a ICE STORM made in this style & with the freeze wash coloration. Since TT & hasbro will never make it. A new character would be cool with the same 3.

 

Different faces so that we can have different expressions across all the three seekers. That is a must so that they don't just seem like 3 repaints of each other. Give each of them some character please.

Other than that, I don't give a flying fart about adding more accessories - What is more important is doing away with that fuselage gap, and making that nosecone part less of an abrupt diameter size change.

 

When's the full reveal, bot mode may seal the deal

 

Ohhhhh...I skipped the official seekers as it didnt appeal to me. This depending on "color accuracy" and "face sculpt" this is a done deal.

But as for extra ideas for the TW MP Seekers here you go! Make it happen Toyworld and you got even more of my money!

Starscream should have a extra face expression the smirk face and death face!



Thundercracker should have his forearm missiles

Bring it. Maybe some effects parts. Missile/thruster trails. Firing weapon effects. Only if it doesn't jack up the cost.

 

What about a KISS players Starscream's Atari Hitotonari? Right guys?

The way I look at it is that;

1. Test shot so certain things may not fit properly.
2. That huge horizontal seam is the area where the end of the nose cone will hide in bot mode. So we don't end up with the back kibble of the official mold.
3. TW are definately not going for realism. Judging by their coneheads and toy inspired colprs and paint apps.
Therefore, certain areas of the jet mode will suffer from that "fantasy" ideal to make it resemble what it needs to in bot form.

Can we ask TW to do a Sunstorm in the true Orange color he came out when ehobby first released him !!
None of this horrible bright yellow stuff that the official had !!
And Ghost version !!

And I'd love if he got a little-TV script and a Buster the dog mini-fig as an homage to his IDW incarnation

Finally each of the three could have a small, Tetra jet mini-figure?

 

Idk his name or if he even had a name? I just call him animation error guy but I'd buy at least two of him to fill out the ranks.

 

Hotlink's specifically the flamethrower guy from the first episode, and is noted as being in a team with Sunstorm and Bitstream, those two other guys there.

So, while I won't buy these as they are MP scale and therefore a waste of time, plastic and engineering and development time given there's a perfectly serviceable MP mold already out there, and especially while I am still waiting for good Voyager scaled modern Seekers, in terms of accessories I've had some ideas.

Scream gets his crown and his cape because of course he does.
Thundercracker gets missiles, per his bio saying he has drone rockets, and some sort of other weapon for his incendiary gun. I'm sure there's some appropriate weapon somewhere.
Skywarp gets machine guns ala FoC Seekers (Per Skywarp apparently having machine guns?), and swords. Because why not?
