I think this was posted yesterday on the Hardbone thread. I really like the guy's sense of humor: the Chinese on the top bar means: The Transformers Collection of A Guy with Unhappy Childhood :) . In Chinese culture, whenever some adult still "collects" toys, inevitably someone will ask whether their childhood is unhappy.

I think you may have gotten me back onboard with this guy,he looks fantastic!

I'm a little concerned about the translucent parts though, the ankles and arm connectors to the tank mode inparticular.

The only one that honestly would worry me, would be the tabs that fold out to lock the wheels in place in vehicle mode. But they feel very sturdy. The only reason they would break it seems, is if rotated the treads. That would put stress on any piece of plastic. But since those pegs aren't stationary, (they fold for transformation) there is wiggle room if they move that way and won't put too much stress on them. If that makes sense.

Yeah I get what you're saying. Looks like I'll be getting an updated Hardhead then as he was the first Headmaster I'd gotten so therefore he was my favorite.:D

Does the HeadRobots head fit on this? Instant buy if so.

If you have the G1 connector peg that they included, then yes, the Headrobots sets should fit as well. I unfortunately couldn't find those pegs to show that off in the video review. But i really do think they'll work as well.

I think this is supposed to go in the new 3rd party video review section.

That one item you're calling a billy club, I have two ideas about:

    1) The sight on the main cannon - have you tried seeing if it will slide in there? If so, maybe it's a scope for that?

    2) The one I'm more confident about - it's a grenade. It looks like it could either be a WWII era hand grenade, or since it fits into the various gun barrels it could be a rifle grenade.

What's funny about the whole billy club thing is that Optibotimus could simply look at the back of the box to see how that can be used. To give him credit though, he managed to find that configuration himself.

I love the accessories on this guy. The blade doubles up as a bayonet and a gutter and the 'billy club' can serve as a oldschool grenade and an extension for the guns.

Also the orange tip on the rifle just helps to add to the configuration options.

    WOW!

Next time, I would love to see a comparison with the G1 figure and with the fx line. Luckily the pics on this site had that. Love seeing that stuff.

Don't have the G1 figure, so i used relatively new figures to give a comparison. Especially since a lot of people probably don't have the G1 figure

    OHHHH YEAH!!! =)

    - Gregg

I will mention that the headmaster figure will only fit in the cockpit folded up if you are using the HeadRobots figure..... Small price to pay to have a proper head. Head is scaled perectly.
