I like Corelock. The neck's long, but that's because they added a swivel to it, so I'm fine with that. I like the size too. Obviously he'd be larger than the others, but he's not overwhelmingly large.

Blurring the combined form is stupid. The first thing Shuraking showed was the combined form and that alone sold many.

Looks bad, and this obsession with making everything into combiners is rubbish.

Bot mode is cool but Dino mode is a let down. But I am not into Toy Worlds Dinos anyway. Looking forward to seeing FP's and GigaPowers.

Daim mentioned in the main TWD Dino thread that he doesn't have permission to show the combined mode pic yet, so I think that was a compromise.

Blech, why won't anyone try and do a halfway realistic-style dinosaur mode? That alt mdoe looks like shite.

    I agree completely.

It's a little weird, though, since the combined mode was already shown in prototype form. Why make that stipulation at this point?

Very good point. Perhaps now that the combined form is out of the grey resin stage TW is more closely guarding the combined images. As you said Gauntlet it seems utterly pointless, but let them have their secrets for now.

$150 for Grimlock?! Looks good and shiney (I like) and all but a Voyager/Leader size for $150? Gcreation here I come... Mp scale for less $$$.

Still got a bad taste in my mouth for almost putting some money into their swirly Megatron.

What makes you think the Gcreations Grimmy will cost less than $150?

Must try to resist GCS Grimlock.... it's like almost the same thing as MP Grimlock in dino mode, except.... way more pumped up in bot mode and way cooler weapons .... and AWESOME!!!

Yes, TW Grimlock is pretty good in bot mode, not GCS good, but still pretty damn good, I do like!!! Alt mode is somewhat diminished due to dino neck being too long, and dino jaw / head being odd, but still not too bad if posed in certain ways actually. I do think out of the dinos by TW, this is my favorite one, and by far. And the shinny.... man so shinny... I love shinny.

So, I'm on board the TW dino train, but I have to say - I don't love this guy from the pics. Maybe the in-hand opinion will be different.

That's funny, as he's easily my favorite of the lot so far.

I can't blame you. I went with TW because I like their scale better, but in an ideal world I'd get GC's take too.

I've already bought into both Toyworld's and Gcreation's dinos, though at some point I may have to pick just one and it may possibly be Toyworld.

I don't know what GC Grimmy will cost, I believe it is bigger then TWs which would boost cost, but we know for a fact it won't be coming with Shuraking's feet, and it seems like a safe bet he won't come with the hands either, which would lower it.

Fair points, but him being so much more massive than Thunderous may negate the potential savings cost in not including other combiner pieces. Time will tell.
