that looks like a game screenshot!
Yea that sucks. Who was the seller?
Thanks man if you catch this guy just right he looks straight out of the Devastator game!
I miss this guy...not thrilled to have sold him off couple years ago
Never too late to get another.
hehe while the desire is there,im done ...I actually have the last remaining piece of my collection for sale as we speak
Way back when the Masterpiece line was reformatting with MP-10, I told myself I didn't NEED to start a new Transformers collection at the same time I was building out a CHUG collection. Then, the 3P market jumped in and started to quickly fill out the lineups and gaps that it seemed Takara would either never get to or would take forever, and my resolve caved and I jumped into MP.
Much in the same way, I resisted jumping onto the 3P MP Combiner bots wagon because I was hesitant to believe the fandom would make it viable for these companies to make MP Combiners other than Devastator. Much in the same way my hesitancy was unfounded with the initial MP push, the Transformers Fandom has proven that combiners, and seemingly no Transformer, is out of realm of possibility.
I started a little late but thanks to junkbot I've since been able get a copy of Toyworld's Constructor Perfect Edition. To say he is impressive would be a major understatement.
Here I present G1, 3P CHUG and 3P MP versions of each set
G1 Bonecrusher/TFC Toys Neckbreaker/Toyworld Bulldozer
G1 Scavenger/TFC Toys Exgrave/Toyworld Unearth
G1 Hook/TFC Toys Dr Crank/Toyworld Allocater
G1 Long Haul/TFC Toys Heavy Labor/Toyworld Burden
G1 Scrapper/TFC Toys Structor/Toyworld Shovel
G1 Mixmaster/TFC Toys Madblender/Toyworld Concrete
Looking bad ass!!
A comparison that I like:
I remember thinking that G1 Devastator was huge in the 1980s!
So unfortunately last night one of my greatest fears came true and my Constructor decided to take a tumble off the top shelf of my desk. His right arm detached in the fall and I was able to re-attach it via the clips near his shoulders, but turns out I can no longer manipulate his arm w/o it coming off very easily. Looking at it more closely I see Actuator's hip/thigh joint broke off.
Fortunately I can still put the arm back on and still have him displayed.
Maybe it's time for me to finally get the Green version (whenever ShowZ gets it back in stock). Was also thinking of just buying the green Actuator on its own from Robotoybase (they still have him in stock surprisingly) and using it for replacement parts.
Damn shame man. Sorry to hear. Yea, the X version is stout. Hopefully TW will produce more. They have been quiet as of late.
It's definitely cheaper to get just Alocator and swap out the parts. But if you really want the green version, I don't think you'd gain an extra $100 on the resale value by fixing that piece, so in that case it becomes not worth it anymore. So really it's a matter of what you'd prefer to do.
