I got the perfect edition which thankfully came with the G1 head and torso fillers. Still need those green thighs though. With the amount of Constructors that Toyworld puts out would it kill them to release the green thigh pieces again.

Were those green thighs ever available with a gift set?

Is TW likely to reissue the version everyone wants (cartoon)?

I have the perfect edition on preorder. Maybe they will re-release the thighs when the set comes out in December.

The crazy thing is apparently the thighs are green underneath the silver paint. Another member in this thread was able to strip the paint off and the green thighs matched perfectly with the rest of the figure. I'm tempted to try it but he said it was not an easy process and there's a chance of damage happening.

The box set I got had only the green thighs and G1 head. Green with purple windows. I think it was the first or maybe second box set. I just remember there being a huge delay for the box set release due to the TW ZETA thing

Which individual figure did the pants come with for v1?

Was v2 released separately or only as a box set?

I actually like the silver thighs, but I would have to think there is a rattle can Gundam paint out there that would do the job nicely. There are a some very straightforward painting tutorials out there. Average folks can get great results with a little care.

They came with Long Haul/Burden, and yes, v2 was only released as a set. Only v1 was released individually.

Urgh, that means the only way to get green thighs is in a set or sold as the add on. Picking up a Burden serves no benefit as the plastic isn't green underneath.

I wish I knew a guaranteed match for the colour. I'd be able to either tinker with my own scuffed ones, or buy the yellow ones, and then airbrush them.

Any other Perfect Edition owners get a forearm partsformer piece that didn't have the elbow pin attached? This is the piece that causes the forearm to expand and contact when moving the elbow joint. Can it be fixed without taking the forearm apart?

It's not a huge deal (he actually gets more range of motion) but I'd kinda like it to match the other arm with the correct assembly.

    Thanks!

I should add that when you retract the forearm to the straight arm position, you lose the ability to slide the pin into place because of the black forearm casing blocks you from simply sliding the pin in. Has anyone taken one of these forearms apart? I don't want the thing exploding into a million parts and springs if I open it up lol.

Looks like you need to punch the pin out and then line up and repunch it. It's not massively difficult to punch out a pin if you have the correct tools or can fudge something similar

Yeah I get that part, but the problem is that there isn't enough room to slide the pin in; it's too long. The purple inner casing prevents you from being able to slide it in where it needs to go.
