You're doing it wrong if you leave it on... TW did it wrong by putting it on in the first place. They also did it wrong by making his arms purple...but I guess it's toy accurate, at least.

Yes, the weathering effect is really great. I like it and i'm glad i ordered it, but – sorry if i say the same thing once again – all that clear yellow is just a scam and i don’t like it at all.  

 

The problem was that it seems they use new ratchets with longer and sharper teeth, the only way I can move them is when I push in the spring with a tool, so the teeth release, and then turn it a bit.
The spottynes is not a problem in combiner mode btw.

Yes, as i said preiously, if you look at the whole figure from some distance, the effect doesn’t seem to be that bad. But it still ticks me off a bit, i can’t understand why they did that choice. Gunner's very first prototype (not the green one) was a lot better.

Mmm… i saw that part isn’t where it should be, but watching at it from that point of view i can’t see exactly what you mean.

However, Old Green is the best of the three in my opinion. Cell Shaded is really not my cup of tea.

 

The left arm isn't in all the way yet, it is very tight and I wasn't in the mood for it so I left it as is for now. That's why the cover isn't closed there.

 

Finally got mine today from ShowZ after 60+ days in limbo. Happy to have him but boy is he a mixed bag. Anyhoo...here he is...

 

Can I ask...based on Showz, and express shipping, the battle damaged version is going for $900+USD...no negative bashing in this comment, but are there so many with so much disposable income? And if so, I am just jealous of you all.

I just got a message from Showz that my constructors that I ordered from him cannot be shipped by his so called new method. He asked me if my address was a new area and it’s not. It’s where I work so obviously this new method is not all that great. The really disappointing part is that his website is a tad misleading because they are not being shipped out when you pay right now. He said they are still seeing if the first shipment of other smaller items shipped with this new method make it to their destination which makes those buyers kinda like guinea pigs. So just not a good thing and rather misleading on his part. If you sell an item you need to be upfront with buyers. He even messaged me on here saying my OG would be shipped out immediately which of course is not happening. Oh well.

 

It is frustrating....for all parties. As you know the situation over there is very fluid, what worked one week is not a viable option the next. He has said that any Government run shipping in China is gone....so they are relying on other more creative methods. The main issue with that is the lack of stability. Point being, it sucks but just be patient.....they will take care of you. Those guys and Toy Dojo are the only ones who have never let me down....I used to put Chosen prime in that category but I have been waiting on a part (the eyes for my MS red cannon/sideswipe) for friggin 4-5 months now.
Anyhoo just give it some time....it will work out.
