The one I have is 192/200 and has never been out of the foam insert. I believe it was the last one Toy Dojo had back then.

are the issues with the plastic just the more recent runs just being made with bad plastic, and being fragile out of the box? or are 5-6 year old sets having issues as well due to aging?

i have the 2nd version of this, after the original release.. first re-release with green thighs, ab fillers, etc.. never had any issues with it, transformed it a bunch of times the first couple of months. solid as a rock, no QC problems whatsoever. but it's been in display mode for 5 years now.. has anyone owned one of the early versions and seen plastic degrade, etc? or should be good if it was good when i got it?

Same here. I have a V2 bought off a member here. Had one repair that needed to be made but everything else was solid. Been standing in the same position for almost 4 years now and he's long overdue for a reposition. I'm always curious if he'll just turn to dust if I mess with him. (nervous lol)

My V2 has no problem, everything is still pretty rock solid even after countless rounds of transformation (some times I even transform them numerous times a day).

But the perfect edition had tons of issues out of the box and given me even more problems when I started transform them, it was nightmare.

Okay. Where do I start? Lol. Seems like multiple glue jobs needed. If anyone has spare parts would appreciate it but I'm sure everyone needs them after reading this long thread. I've seen the posts about the longer screws and all....

I would offer mine but my Burden (and he is a burden) has also broken the same damn way! The cheap, soft plastic they used is a ticking time-bomb waiting to self destruct. As far as longer screws go, the longer screws are only a temporary fix. The plastic will still be shit and the screw post would likely break again.

I think the only way we will be able to fix him is with JB Weld. @Sqlwizard has fixed his broken Constructor figures with it to great success. I haven't fixed mine yet because i'm still way too salty.

Yeah I'm pretty bummed because I want to love this thing. I have JB Weld but I've for some reason never found it holds strong enough. What version of it do you all use? Time to start I guess :(

I have a few kinds but I believe Sqlwizard suggested to use the normal JB Weld. This is the one I have that I will use if my anger over the situation ever subsides. He offered to help me with it once but my anger prevented me from taking him up on it. Plus I was waiting to see if ShowZ would get replacement parts. They never got them BTW. Big shock.

Blows my mind how TW basically Fukd all of its customers who bought the later releases of the perfect edition. I guess I was one of the lucky ones who bought one of the first runs. Damn shame. Good luck brother in the repairs.:(

Yea, that is probably the best kind. I tried the one that you squeeze equal parts simultaneously and it's garbage. Good luck. I will say that Showz not getting parts is on TW. Showz is good about sourcing items, but TW just sucks period. I guess they rode off into the sunset with the profits from all of the constructors they made over the years.

Take it for what it's worth but on Bombusbee and TF Express, they mentioned that they can't get any aftermarket support from Toy World and Zeta Toys because of the lockdown. Show Z always comes thorugh with spare parts from Toy World but its a waiting game. It took me a better half of a year to get everythign I needed from my V2. Constructor and this was pre-pandemic.

I waited for over a year for my parts and ShowZ finally told me it wasn't happening and gave me a refund for Burden. Unfortunately now I can't find another one that isn't yellow. So eventually i'll have to JB Weld mine back together too. I just hope I don't mess it up even more.

Crazy how to date, constructor is still the best MP combiner to own.
