    Nothing will happen before March.

Chinese ShowZStore also said Release is
End of February. So no one will have this Figure in Hand before Mid March.

Toyworld just needs to speed up their Production. Almost 2 Years for ONE Figure.
That is not funny anymore, and it kills almost every Love when it comes to collecting of 3rd Party Figures.

I hope these guys will NEVER do a COMPLEX Movie Combiner, like Devastator,
    Infernocus or Dragon Knight Combiner

As awesome as these Figures would be in Combined Mode, the waiting time for such Project of maybe...
5 Years (For Releasing every Limb)
    is not even worth it.

I can only Imagine how long it will take for their Crosshairs and Drift to be Released.
    Maybe 2023 At best.

In the End, i do not care how long they will need for Drift, since he is not that important like Optimus and Megatron.
Will buy Drift in 3 Years then :-D

But i am excited for their AOE Optimus in March.

to be fair didn't knight orion have to be delayed because they had to redo parts of the transformation because it was initially to fragile

I never heard of it being Fragile.
Some Parts like the entire Head had to be remolded to be more Movie Accurate. Yes i know that.

But Remolding a Head does not justify a heavy 6-12 Month Delay.

And it is not only AOE Prime, but BB Prime also had a Delay OVER 1 Year.
Delay again and again and again.

I thought the most heavy Delay was UT Challenger, with 1 Year overall.
    I can live with that
    .

UT Megatron, also 1 Year from Prototype to Final Production Sample, overall.

But more than a Year???? For 2 Figures?
These guys really need a better Plan of Production, Speeding up Quality Tests and so on.

Would not be surprised if their Drift needs around 2-3 Years to actually see the Daylight.

Sorry but in the CURRENT 3rd Party Business, that is far to long.

Not every Collector in the World has that much Patience to wait for a Figure.

I really hope AOE Prime was worth all these Delays and that it will be a good Figure.

i tried searching but couldn't fine anything yet but i could've sworn they said they had to rework the transformation of the chest, its possible im confusing it with challenger but im not sure

on an unrelated note didn't toyworld have a rep on here early on when they were showing early prototypes of freedom leader or am i crazy about that to?

I know they said they had to rework internal components that didn’t effect it visually.

Ut has a figure per year, TW had 2 figures in 2 years so what's the deal? Not to mention they also released 2 of their WW2 stuff in 2019.

Yeah but compare the number of figures that UT has shown and not released (1, Galvatron) to the number of figures that TW has shown and not released (almost all of them)...

Looking back at some of Knight orion photos, not sure if he has ab crunch and waist rotation or not (or just a little bit ?). Most of photos show him in normal postures, make me think he may have less articulation than the UT challenger.

Idk, so far hard to tell because of the lack of photos, but he can do this... so looks decent to me.

I'm pretty late to the party here, but what is the consensus on this as of yet? Does he look to be "better" than Challenger?

He has better sculpting, that’s about the most people can agree on atm since it hasn’t released yet.

Thanks! Yeah, I figured as much from the the little I've read. "Anticipated" might have been a better word choice on my part. Looks pretty cool so far. 1st pre-order batch is already sold out to on ShowZStore

With regards to the delays, there are several factors that could cause them.

One, a major design issue not foreseen during the CAD stage that only shows up once they do a test shot. That would require anywhere from minimal reworking to major reworking.

Two, issues not foreseen until they get to the pre-production sample stage.

Three, massive negative feedback once at the pre-production stage. Anything from tolerance issues to design issues to paint. Some of these would require reworking the design.

And, most importantly, not all of these companies have their own factories. They have to book time at other factories to get the parts made. If the factory decides to push back their project, there's not much about it they can do.

Personally, I'd rather they take their time and get the figure right than rush it out the door.
