Yeah Challenger is down to $90 on showz store, so he's a much, MUCH better value. The repaints are $90 too and there are two to choose from AND they come with the better updated headsculpts!

How about compare them to a real world truck, like the one in the movie? Which one is closer?

Literally the only thing it does better than UT in truck mode is the fact that the front windows are covered up more by the bonnet and the front is wider. Everything else looks off.

Both are very off in their own distinct ways. TW's is not very proportionately accurate, looking a lot more compact in the nose with a huge sleeper cabin by comparison. Also has those prominent guard rails along the sides that don't seem to exist at all on the movie truck. UT's is closer in proportions, but as you say, looks much boxier than the real deal.

Divorced from accuracy, since neither really wins, I like the look of TW's truck mode more. The lower front profile and narrow windshield makes it look mean, like a Clint Eastwood glare in truck form. Those big guard rails on the side give it a more rough-and-tumble flare as well.

You’re correct in your assessment, but to me TW looks less mean and more just chubby and slow.

Ultimately it comes down to preference. Neither are totally accurate and both have parts that are more accurate than the other.
Most likely if you are a person who is more partial to Toyworld's version, than you are more likely to prefer it's alt mode
    Likewise for Unique Toys.
I personally like Challenger more. To me, even though his details are shallow and soft, they are the right shapes. Toyworld has great detail that looks really cool, especially after the painting it done, but it looks inaccurate. It almost looks like it has detail for detail's sake.

Funnily, I always thought UT is a clear winner when it comes to alts but turns out TW is not that much off and inaccurate. Even better.

And even the titty plates doesn't seem to bother that much in person. I don't know what else to say - I love it. I'm going to pay the sh1t out of that final price on ShowZ next week.

He hold it by his leg without the figure moving at all, I hope that all of limb joints are ratchets.

The true way to prove a figure is solid, hold it by the leg and see how much it moves. :lol

Why just cause it's lower to the ground? Hence my squished comments :p
Yeah this is exactly what I've been saying. It's the right details in the wrong places, like someone who starts inking a drawing before the shapes are correct.
That's a good point! Have we seen Orion's full range of articulation? It seems that all we've seen for months now are pictures of him standing perfectly straight up. I seem to recall some more dynamic shots at some point but does he even have articulation?

Yep we have a few pics from a while back. Looks to have some decent range despite the bulk.

The problem with Toyworlds truck mode is its scale. The wheels are almost the same height as measuring from the bottom of the door to the top of the windscreen. So is the cabin small compared to the rest of the truck? Are the wheels comically large compared to everything else? Assuming the cabin is scaled for a normal sized human, the rest of the truck would be huge.

Knight Orion does beat Challenger on robot mode sculpted detail and paint apps. But the truck mode is definitely less proportionally accurate, and Toyworlds rust fetish is annoying. The vehicles are almost always pristine in the films but emulating that on their figures doesn't seem to be an objective for them. WeiJiang struck a reasonable compromise on their MPM4 by having the truck pristine but robot parts weathered. I think the same approach would help Toyworld both on this and Freedom Leader.
