Holy shit that's a real origami there. Looks much much more complex than Challenger. We're totally flipping the truck inside out so it completely disappears inside the robot mode with 0 kibble. That's some movie magic of cgi. Mindblowing design

    Respect

The transformation is absolutely crazy. Kudos to the engineer, he's definitely no joke.

On the quality though, the various panels on the legs seemed pretty loose in the video plus I just read a comment on Facebook from Arturo Milomir saying he fiddled with the testshot and it was a floppy mess.

I'll wait for the final product to be released and reviewed before ordering (I'm still waiting for my Freedom Leader thanks to covid anyway :lol ).

I appreciate the transformation and details. But isn't a perfect truck and isn't a perfect robot mode. I stay with my Unique Toys Challenger at half price.

I'm definitely waiting this out 'til we have a proper review showcasing all those "ratchet" joints. My V1 Challenger is nearly succumbing to his weakly tolerated leg joints so I could really go for a replacement :drunk

Not bad, still need more size comparisons. I find the transformation impressive, very reminiscent of the official stuff, not tooooooo complex, but not overly simplified.

I’m legitimately hyped for a figure again, this feels weird. Like just yesterday it seemed like it wasn’t real, and now a review is out. And while complex looking, the clearances look better than on FL at least. I’m genuinely excited for this figure!!!

There's a review? Do you mean the transformation video?

Regardless, I've got to commend them on the transformation. Quite ingenious indeed. Love how the pecs form from the wheel wells and how they hide the flames on the shoulder pads in truck mode. Not sure if I need yet another AOE/TLK Prime, and it seems that the consensus is that their QC isn't that good?

I have noticed that the truck mode still doesn't have clear pieces for the headlights :(

    Yeah meant Tf video.

Idk I heard a decent amount of stuff about QC but my freedom leader is perfectly fine and doesn’t have any issues with him, so idk. Maybe a vocal crowd, Overreacting, or I just got lucky. But my personal experience is a good one.

Definitely luck, check out sixo’s review. The main problem seems to be the transformation just not working, a problem which this guy thankfully doesn’t seem to have.

First batch of Freedom Leader came out in the middle of corona outbreak in China and was probably rushed as hell (the figure was already delayed) and according to rumors this is not TW's design directly but purchased from a freelancer so fingers crossed that it's solid. There are just plenty of tiny moveable parts in him...

Edit: And hopefully his chest bloody tabs in this time and it's not only being held in place by his robo tits

I hope this guy turns out good and sells well. Really want to see the rest of their movie line happen.

Someone FINALLY thought to have Prime's ears rotate down to allow for more clearance

BB Shatter is probably next but maybe we'll see that tripple-changing Drift within 5 years :p

Yeah we must accept that the alt mode is "serviceable" at best
